My back and legs are almost breaking after standing consecutively for 2 days from 10am - 10pm! The only time when I can sit down for that mere 20mins is during lunch and dinner! Din noe that the crowd at Natas Fair is really overwhelming! Well, prolly coz we're the only one providing FREE coffee and there's no vending machine in sight unless you go all the way down to level 1. Well, so you get all the 'yao-gui' people as usual! Sometimes, I seriously wonder if they understand the meaning of SAMPLING! Haiz...But well, juz as you taut only Singaporeans are like that...well, even the Japanese are like that ok! Going to the exhibition in Japan makes me see more and learn even more about the Japanese. You'll be surprised to see that they're juz as Kiasu. And if you think that they are well-mannered and polite, you're so wrong! We have encountered several incidents and have even videoed the ugly sights of them, grabbing the samples etc. But then of coz, not all are like that. There're some really nice Jap people around. By and large, Japan is still a nice place to eat...shopping wise....like I mentioned in my earlier entry, unless you go to those 'kumpung' area, otherwise, no point shopping there.

Hee....these are some of my damaged done in Japan. All the items are bought in the 'kumpung' area where the exhibition area is, Makuhari Messe! No doubt it's an Ulu Area, something like our Singapore Expo, but that's where all the factory outlets are located! I bought the Baby-G for around 9,500 yen (ard S$145). But this watch is a limited edition and exclusive to Japan coz it's a winter edition. I've checked around and the G-Factory that Singapore sells has got a similar shape but it's definately different! Haha....And the Addidas bag....I dun tink can be found in Singapore either. Bought it for like 2,000+ yen (less than S$ 30)Even my mummy says that it's cute! The other sweet looking bag is for my sis. The material is good, price is super reasonable and it suits my sis's image! And not forgetting my Peko! One of my first peko collectables that I bought in Japan. The rest of my Peko damaged is in Tokyo where I spent nearly S$100 on her! Ahhhh!!...and the Le Coq Sportif sneakers! I'm going ga-ga over this brand! Well, prolly coz I'm born in the year of Rooster! Haha...I really Love this pair of shoe and it's so unique! My manager also keep physco me and there goes my 6,450 yen (S$ 100).

Above is the exhibition Hall which is just opposite our Hotel, which is actually a 5mins walk everyday! Hee...So we cut down a lot on travelling time! Most of the other exhibitors stayed in Tokyo, so basically they have to take the JR line, which is approximately 3hrs to and fro, just to get here!

Above & On the Left: The view from our Hotel Room....Yeah! The sea is just right in front of us! And I was pretty lucky that day to be able to capture the Horizon on my digicam! We stayed in Hotel New Otani. Quite a nice hotel. Big room, nice view, cosy bed and I LOVE the toilet!! Super spacious and it has even got a mini TV in it! So can actually shit and be entertained at the same time! Oopps!! hahahahaha....*rolls eyes*

Anyway, there were days when we called room service coz we're simply too tired to walk out for dinner after standing the whole day with the stupid suit and heels, trying to act demure and having to maintain that smile when attending to enquiries. Then again, it's still quite fun lah. Meet all kinds of funny people...which can be quite entertaining at times. We're pretty lucky to have our witty neighbours, whom they call themselves the 4 Heavenly Kings making us laugh all the time and alwaiz offering food to us. They're actually the Bossess of SINGAFOOD. Basically, they sell local food such as Satay, Man-tou, Pepper/Chilli Crabs and sharks fin etc. all in Instant packaging. I think it can be found in most supermarkets. Anyway, they're really such nice Uncles who took very good care of us during the 4 days at the exhibition. Guess what? They even smuggle Durians in vacuum seal into Japan! Hahaha....so almost everyday after the exhibition, we'll sit down and savour the durians, chit-chat before going back to hotel! Mmm...not gona post up their pix here coz I dun tink it's very nice lah. One thing's for sure, they're also participating in the Singapore Food Expo 2006 and they've promised me free flow of goodies again since I'll be there as well! *evils laughter*

Back to Tokyo....we din go any sightseeing as we're only keen on shopping! Haha...so dun ask me about Disneyland or the Tokyo Tower etc. Standard places that we went to: Ginza - where all the expensive boutiques are located and also the so-called famous Makuhinkan Toy Park, which is actually quite disappointing. There's nothing much there as compared to Kiddyland. The Kiddyland in Tokyo is like 7 storeys, and you can get all the cutsy stuffs there. We also went to the Big Takashimaya @ Times Square, which is located in Shinjuku. Hmm...but like nothing much also leh. Or rather, there's nothing I fancy there! haha...end up bought Hello-Kitty again!

Yeah! That's me in Ginza! Seems that the roads are closed during weekends coz no cars at all!! And everyone juz walk on the road freely!

Went to the famous Shibuya 109 (as above), where it sells all the hip and fashionable clothes, accessories etc. Prolly it wasn't the Sale season, so we only see but din buy. But some of the stuffs seemed that it can be found in Bangkok but at a much much lower price! Conclusion: Bangkok is still a shopping paradise! Haha...but of coz, we still managed to find some unique stuffs which is quite reasonably priced lah...but you really need to walk and look-see around to get such bargains. Hmm...we din exactly go down to Harujuku though we were somewhere near there. But we still managed to see those weird people dressed up interestingly and walking down the streets. Quite an eye-opener actually.

Eating in Tokyo is not much of a problem, though I realised that they usually sell more pork & beef than chicken. Most of the time I'll eat Katsudon, which is so yummy! Very different from those sold in Singapore!...The curry rice & Ramen is also good. Even the cakes and bread there is so delicious! Duno izzit the flour that they use...it's so soft and even after keeping it overnight, it still taste as good. And I had lotsa Milk Tea. My favourite brand - Kirin!

I'm so glad tat I din get lost while taking the train or subway in Tokyo! Coz it's so superly confusing! But luckily sis did gime some pointers on which train or line to take and when you're all alone there, have got no one to rely on, you just have to be independent and learn!

Behind me is the main train station in Shinjuku. It was a superly cold night that day!! Think it was like 6 or 7 degrees!

Actually, I wasn't a fan of Anpanman or also known as 'Mian Bao Chao Ren". Infact, I din even noe of its existence until my friends told me about it! Haha...yeah, mi sua-pa again! According to my pet pig, Vincent, Anpanman will sacrifice itself for people to eat if they got no food. Erm...I guess it's somewhere along that line lah. Correct me if I'm wrong, or rather, if my fren is wrong! *evils laughter*....He's pretty hot in Jap now...everywhere can also see him.

Anyway, it was quite a good trip even though it was super tiring! Learn more about people, environment, culture and myself. I've still got a long way to go and so much more to learn in this trade! Definately a very enriching experience. Hoped to have such opportunities again! Hee hee....but right now, I've got tonnes of work pilling up on my desk! Stress!!....Events, events and more events are coming up! Gona start planning another trip soon to destress after my peak period is over!
