Have caught the lazy bug recently hence the lack of updates! Heehee....oh well, but I have been pretty busy with my own stuffs as well. Unfortunately, I can't exactly remember what was it. Anyway, some random pix from the past few weeks....
The (apparently) famous ramen is not too bad. Pretty authentic. The stewed pork is pretty good as well. Luckily we went early, so we did not have to queue. Generally, you'll have to wait pretty long, considering the place to be relatively small, even though the service was pretty fast. And my latest craze following that.....
STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE!! This was from Coffee Club (if I remember correctly). Not too bad. The cake is soft and spongy, with pretty generous amount of strawberries embedded inside the cake. *drools*....The strawberry shortcake at Isetan Scotts, the Japanese bakery shop (can't remember its name) is really good as well. But it's pretty pricy. Around $4.80 for a really small slice but it's all worth it. Of coz, it can't beat the ones I had in Tokyo! Cheap and Good! Japan has got *double drools*
Following that week, I had a BBQ with my colleagues. It was pretty fun and an interesting experience to mingle with the guys from our production side, mostly from PRC. Best of all, there're actually 2 cute guys and we had had a great fun teasing them! Heehee
I think we gals made the most noise that night....Gals will be gals ya! Muahahaha....The night ended pretty early due to the slight drizzle. Nonetheless, it was still fun and the food was really good!
Hmm...nothing much to blog on work for now. Oh, but if you've heard on the radio, Yes, we'll be back to sponsor the Mediacorp Radio Subaru Challenge 2007! I'll be the one to handle the whole event again. Stress-stress! But with the experience from last year, hoped that everything will be smoother this time round. *keeps fingers crossed*....There goes my sleep and weekends! Sobz!....As usual, following that will be the Asia Pacific Food Expo 2007. So my November will be packed with 2 major events. Do come on down to look for me and I promise to give you free coffee! Heehee
On a totally irrelevant topic, I went to the Jurong Bird Park yesterday!!! It had been a zillion years since I last visited. Not much changes, maybe for the exterior? Or maybe I can't really remember as well.
The biggest man-made waterfall is still around.....not much changes I guess.
Flamingos!....So pretty lah! Indeed a nice place for weddings if you're a Bird person! Haha...Basically, go to the Bird Park only when you think you're really too free and have some spare cash. Seriously, speaking from the point of a local, the prices are really exorbitant! Entrance fee with panorail ride (optional) is $22! Somemore the panorail ride is not those unlimited rides! Anyway, I doubt I'll be going to the Bird Park for the next 10 years!
This coming Tuesday is the Mooncake Day! Wooohooo!...Can't wait to show off my new lantern! Hahaha.....It's gona be at Bishan Park again. Gona be kiasu and go down earlier this year so that there'll be parking lots!!!....This year I also had lotsa mooncakes! All thanks to the generous suppliers we have. Whatever brands you name it, we have it. Be it snowskin, traditional skin, exotic flavours, ice-cream mooncakes, it's like our tea break every day! I've yet to get sick of it for now, so I'll still be gorging myself silly with my snowskin mooncakes (with egg as well as champagn & white chocolate) Yum-yum!
Here's wishing all an early Happy Mid-Autumn Festival! We shall see The Moon, Chang-Er & her Labbit on Tuesday! Muahaha......
