Unpredictable...
I was listening to FM93.3 the other day when they mentioned about this lady named Molly. She was awarded with the Singapore Woman Award 2008. She was such a strong lady fighting against cancer. Despite her own pain and suffering, she still motivates fellow cancer patients like her to be optimistic and to put up a good fight with the disease call CANCER. Do visit her blog at www.wearewonderwomen.com
Though she has passed on, she's really an inspiration to many people around her and I'm one of them! I feel for her hubby and her family even though I do not know her in person. Coz lately, one of my super nice colleagues has been diagnosed with this deadly disease. Little is known about his condition as it seems like a taboo topic in the company. All we know is that he's currently in the 3rd/advanced stage and has just started on his chemo shortly after his major surgery to remove the affected organs just few weeks back. He is the most respected person in the company and he never fails to come down to our events to "visit" us. Going to the Old Airport Road Hawker Centre also reminds me of him as that's his favourite hang-out! More importantly, he is like a big kid always teasing or disturbing people! But we know he will be back in office soon, to be the same old him once he has build up his health. I just pray hard that he can endure and overcome the tough treatment.

Haiz...I know this post sounds pessimistic but don't you sometimes think that life is so so so unpredictable? And just today, I realised that one of my frens broke up!! Coz they're such a lovey-dovey couple and they are the last couple on earth that you'll ever think that they'll break-up! It's difficult trying to console and advise the both of them as parental objection in a relationship is the most difficult to handle. For some strange reason, looking at their current situation makes me treasure my potatoe even more!
So...treasure those people around you before it's too late. Cliche but so true ya...
