Wow! Has been at least 2 months since I last blogged! It takes a lot of mood, time and effort to sit down and blog. And yes, being in a non-lazy mode is important as well! hehe...Life's been good & bad so far. Good is that I went travelling to Japan in June. And I'm glad it's not for work. Purely travel and lotsa shopping with my family. We were neither in Tokyo not Osaka, but was in the very lovely place - Hokkaido! Words can't really describe how lovely that place is. It's a 'die-die-must-go' place in your lifetime. Food is fantastic...it's basically Japan Hour everyday in Hokkaido! Shopping was great probably it was the summer season. But weather was like air-con temperature even though other parts of Japan was like close to 30deg! We also went to Kagoshima where we had losta fun too. It's a place famous for its hotsprings and we had all sorts of hotsprings from purely leg springs, to full soaking hot springs, to sand hot spring! I tell you, the sand hot spring was a really good experience. If you want to have an experience being buried alive, go for the sand hot spring! But of course you won't die from it lah, otherwise I wouldn't be blogging about it now! hehe....
Well, for the bad side of my life is that I'm going to get really busy down the road and I dread the November to come as I have 2 major events coming up back to back which means that 2 weekends will be burnt consecutively! OMFG! The only consolation is my upcoming trip to Hong Kong in October (Airtix & Accomodation been booked)! I'm going to be there for at least 1 week, so it's going to be lotsa eating, shopping & sightseeing! *Yippie*
Oh! And not forgetting my short kelong trip 2 weekends ago in Tanjung Pinang, Indonesia. It was my very first virgin trip out to such ulu trip like this and definately a culture shock to me. Bathing facilities was back to basic. No hot water to bathe with which was a nightmare to me. Instead, you have a tub with a scope and you're supposed to bath using the primitive way! And of course, whatever comes out from your intestines through your arse goes straight down to the kelong into the fishes stomach! And at mealtimes, we eat the yummy fishes which is actually...well, you know what. And the cycle repeats itself. Grose? I think it's the facts! Haha
Another happy thing to share is that remember in my last post, I mentioned about one of my colleagues who got the sickening illness called cancer? I'm so gald he is coping well with the chemo with little side effects *touchwood*. Hoped that he remains strong (mentally & physically) and healthy. I know he will be fine!
It's National Day today. Somehow, the atmosphere seems weird, probably coz it falls on a Saturday! Boohoo! Anyway, the happy thing is that our management finally decided to give us off in lieu (to be added to our annual leave) in replacement after 1 billions years of consideration! Whoohooo!...So I should be happy! Here's wishing everyday a Happy National Day & Happy 43rd Birthday, Singapore!
