27 January 2006 - Accident Prone Day

Ok...just to share this number with you guys...3575. Quick....Go Buy 4D!!...It's the number plate of a bloody b*tch driving a Mazda, who was dreaming behind her wheels and kiss my mummy's car arse yesterday @ Orchard. Lucky no damage was done to the car. Strangely, Clara and I can feel the impact and we were like being jerked to the front. Our car was stationery, coz red light mah...so I guessed that the car behind me prolly did step on her brakes totally then it rolled to the front. Anyway, that b*tch din even bother to apologise. All she said was: "It was only a slight knock, there's not damage to your car, so there's no need to exchange numbers!"...F**k her lah! Bang people still tok so much crap! I keep "diao" her all the way, then checked on our car's arse....heng it was a kiss between "rubber and rubber", so no damage...then I oso touch touch feel feel....lucky was daylight, so can see clearly...then confirmed no damage, I oso bitched back in a totally pissed-off toned before 'diao-ing' her again and told her off: "Be More Careful!", and then I went back to the car. At this point of time, Miss Clara oso took down he licence plate just in case lor. That's why I alwaiz tell people off when they smsed me, ask me drive carefully, coz I drive carefully, it's other road users who are so damn stupid, who dun drive properly and endanger other people's life! Like what Tay Ping Hui said in this week's 8 days, "Should jail all the bad drivers!"...I totally agree with him! And last time when I was a pillion rider, I see more worst drivers on the road who are totally irresponsible! Of coz, I have to agree that some riders also don't ride properly, e.g. they ride on dotted lines, which gets me really pissed off as well. Anyway, I'm just angry that she banged me yet dun even apologised and can even try to defend herself! Haiz....B*TCH!!! Hoped that her tyre puncture, car kena scratch, windscreen kena smashed....*evils laughter*

Then in the morning while on the way to Plaza Sing meet Clara, also met with 2 idiotic cab drivers! Hello Uncles....I know you all out there making a living....but dun endanger other people's life leh!! Anyhow Anyhow stop as and when you like!! Cut into other people's lane liao then signal! You might as well Sh*t first then take off your pants! Kaoz!!!!!....*Pissed off*....Then at night leh, on the way home from Clara's house...met with an idiotic biker! I was going straight...biker turning....but I tink he din on his headlights, coz I can't see him lor...then suddenly see him in front of me! Wah piangz! I immediately ''zhan" brake, and high-beamed him! Kaoz! It was a near miss! If I had gone slightly faster, I tink I "help" him go Heaven liao! Duno why he so impatient, coz after my car, no car liao....he can turn all he wans! And especially at night, judgement is usually quite different as compared to day...and he was riding a phantom...I'm sure his pick-up is not as fast as those super bikes! So why risk your life if you're not confident of your vehicle's performace!!?? Haiz...strange people are everywhere! Lucky got Guan Yin Jie Jie protect and watch over me...Hee hee...

Anyway, I was at Miss Clara's house helping her decorate her house, help her Mummy make the pineapple tarts since I got nothing better to do! Was fun though...but feel like an auntie! Yeah! It's CNY Eve today....counting down to my steamboat renuion dinner now....*drools*

Yippie!!...Break for CNY....

Just got home from work feeling Happy!!...Hee...coz it's finally the last day of work and the start of the Lunar New Year break, all the way till Wednesday. Mmm....if oni my Company let us start work on Chu-Jiu instead of Chu-Wu...that's even better lor. *rolls eyes* ...Anyway, everyone's in super good mood today. And all of us got Free 1 plastic container of Wafer Rolls from our Malaysia distributor, Munchy! It's those wafer rolls similar to that of the Julie Biscuit one. It's my all-time favourite snack currently, and I just can't seem to stop munching on that! *guilty* ...and the overflowing of bak kuas everywhere! At home and in my office! Oh! Did I mention that I paid oni $32.30 for 1kg of Mei Zhen Xiang Bak Kuas, when outside selling for $44/kg! And I dun even hab to queue! *evils laughter*, coz I got corporate price. So helped my 2 nannies to buy as well...Then yesterday helped my sis's colleague to buy as well. But no corporate price liao...oni got 5% discount, coz walk-in mah. But more importantly, there's no queue at all! Hmm...then again, I'm still a Lim Chee Guan Supporter! Heh heh

Gona do some last minute shopping tml with my Miss Clara. Hopefully can grab some nice stuffs! Going for my dinner appointment now. Here's wishing all Gong Xi Fa Cai and got many many ang pows to take! :D

Haiz...see what I mean when I tell people that I'm a 'Bao-Sua-Bao-Hai" Excutive instead of a Marketing Exe??!! ....Even Bao Hamper also falls under my job scope! Kaoz! Ironically, I'm enjoying wrapping the hampers though. Hee...then my sales manager so bad! He remarked that me can go join Noel Gift Company wrap hamper liao! *rolls eyes*...But I'm not so expert lah! Luckily got my colleague to help me. She's really good in such stuffs! Even that time we did the Money Tree Promo, she was the one who re-arranged all fake "Kum" stalks so that they can take a nice photo-shoot of it. Mmmm.....tink my Company really train us to be multi-taskers!!

So Happy!! Just got my AWS!! Haha...din expect to get so much though. However, 80% of that went into clearing my credit card debts which I owed Papa since last year! Haha...Heng he neber charge interest, else I tink he's gona hang pig head outside my room liao! Anyway, the remaining 20% went into my Shopping yesterday and today! Hmm...dun dare to calculate the damage as yet. I rather not know! And yes!! My up and coming bangkok trip in early March!! *Yippie*...Has been confirmed oredi. Will be going with 6 of my other colleagues...flying by Jetstar Asia...and staying in Twin Towers! After much consideration, I decided not to go to Pattaya with my other 4 colleagues to see the "Bai Long Wang", due to some personal reasons. So I'm gona stay put in Bangkok with my bestest colleague, Geraldine...and we shall conquer the whole Chatuchak and MBK and win the title of "Shopping Queen"!! Hahahahahaha...Not too sure if my other colleague is gona join us....or he'll go to some places for 'massage'! *rolls eyes*...Hahaha....Anyway, I'm so excited now and I can't wait to go! Doubt I'll be spending much on shopping though since I bought most of the stuffs 4 months back! Hee....but hard to say oso lah....since I'm such an implusive buyer as well. But I'm definately gona bring back more food stuffs back...especially my favourite "Gao-Sai" i.e. the hardened version of the Bak-Hu that looks like Dog/Cat Shit! Hahahahaa.....and the Bak-Hu Keropok! Very Delicious! *drool*

Feel like a PIG!! Been eating and eating and eating NON-STOP lately!! Arrggg!!...All my clothes are tight and I dun even dare to weigh myself now for fear that I'll just jump off from my office building!! Haha....BUT...today, sis and I signed up for aerobics class again! This time round, we shall be good gers and to attend all lessons faithfully! *rolls eyes*...Mmm... that means we got more excuses to eat...so, we bought the 1kg of Chocolates, specially for Chocolate Fondue!! And as CNY approaches each day...have been binging on all the goodies as well, and then attending to lunch meetings, weekly dinner with family and friends. Haiz....if oni I can eat but not grow fat! *pouts*

Thursday will be my Company's last day of work before we break for the lunar new year! I'm so excited now...4 more days to go!! Counting down now...! *yippie*

Busy! Busy! Busy!....Have been so busy since the beginning of 2006! Arrgg! Super stressed as well, coz was busy planning for the Lunar New Year Promotion which we have for consumers. If you have read Monday's Straits Times, probably you would have seen our advert. And the nice looking "Kum-Kuat" tree is actully my Mummy's one! Muahaha....coz I was desperate to get a real one, but most of the nurseries do not sell the plant until this week, and I can't afford to wait so made do with my Mummy's fake plant! Hee...but it looks real hor! And I guess Mummy is proud of her plant, coz if you go to NTUC, Sheng Shiong etc. You will also be able to see the posters, headerboard, shelf-talkers, contest forms etc! Hahaa....Oh yes! Not forgetting the Lian He Wan Bao and Zao Bao. We'll have insertions in both of the papers as well. And yes! The Fake Money!...Not gona reveal too much details lah. But if you all wana find out more, can check out the details at the MAS webby. Hee...Really learn a lot through this promo. It's not so simple of just conducting a simple lucky draw. There're soooo many rules and regulations to adhere until I alwaiz kena anxiety attack, coz got too many details to take note liao.

Hmm...actually nothing much to update lately oso leh. Oh yes! I'm looking forward to 3rd February 2006! Hee...coz we're gona have a Chinese New Year luncheon with Mediacorp! And usually there'll be 1 celebrity sitting together in the table to have lunch with the sponsors/clients etc.....i.e., people like us lor! Haha...Heard from my Assistant Manager that the year before, Tay Ping Hui sat together with them. Damnz! That time me haven join the Company. Geeze! Hoped that this time round is Qi Yuwu sit with us! Muz bring my digicam liao! *Grinz*

Watched Sunday's Ren Ci's Charity Show. Hmm...told myself that I'll not donate, even after watching those sob-story segments. However, I still decided to make that 5 bucks call, coz of Ming Yi Fa-Shi. Somehow can see that he prolly felt very 'kek-sim' that because of 1 black sheep, end up affected the rest of the white sheeps. Anyway, Mummy also cried when she saw him cry. Haiz...typical auntie or she's just too emtional? Haha... I don't know. But I was touched also lah...but I'm no auntie ok! *humph*...Another reason that I donated was because, Ming Yi Fa-Shi ever grant us an interview with him when we were doing a reseach project last time. Nice monk, and very willing to help us. Then quite cheerful also. So must help back lah...

So Happy!! Our neighbour, Mei Zhen Xiang oredi set up the tentage and I guess they gona start selling all the Goodies very soon! Heard from my colleagues it's much cheaper if you purchase directly from there and usually the bak-kuas are more fresh. Come to tink of it, quite true oso, since there is the headquaters mah. And since we're neighbours, heard that we'll have further discounts! *Yippie*....I'm already aiming the Bacon Bak-Kua! Haha! But trust me...it's damn good ok! Very delicious but expensive though. Then my colleagues also told me that usually they will just pop by after work to go check out the goodies lor. *Drool*...Oh! Even we buy abalone also got discount and it's a pretty well-known brand. It's really quite cheap, but I din buy coz Mummy prefers another brand. Haha! That's the advantage of working in the Food Industry! Can never 'escape' from FOOD!! Muahahaha...And moi being such a glutton, all the more I love working in this industry! Heh Heh

Ok, think I'm not gona bore u people with such bo-liao updates. Will blog again when there're more 'happening' things to bitch on! Hee...till then!

A Start of a Brand New Year - 01 January 2006

Before I start blogging on my countdown party yesternite and celebrate the brand new year, here's a quick reflection/recaps of the 'happenings' in 2005.

1. Finally graduated officially from SIM and had my long awaited convocation ceremony in August!
2. Found a permanent job which I really enjoyed (
despite having to face unreasonable consumers at times in roadshows/events). More importantly, it's an industry which I had alwaiz wanted to get into - FMCG, Food Industries! Haha
3. Getting to know my wonderful colleagues and some new friends along the way
4. I finally went to Bangkok!! Really love and miss that place. I can't wait to go back there again!
5. Having the opportunity to take pix with celebrities especially Qi Yuwu!
6. Hmm...I tink this may shock quite a lot of people - My bf and I broke off after a 10-years relationship. Long story and since it's a brand new year, I hoped to put the past behind me. In a way, I'm still trying to get over it. It's tough leading a different lifestyle when all the while, you have been living in a comfort zone or rather, a decade of your life is spent with the same person. But I just hoped that he's doing well, healthy and happy lor.

Anyway, that's how my 2005 came and went in a blink of the eyes. Here comes 2006! - My New Year Resolutions!

1. To Be Happy Everyday no matter how life really sucks at times
2. To go for Lasik Surgery (if I have the guts in the first place! haha)
3. To lose at least 2kg, and make sure my fat arse is no longer that fat!
4. To spend more time with my family and friends
5. To be less grumpy and grouchy! haha

Mmm...tink that's about it lah. Can't really tink of more liao. So, yesterday was a Super Fun nite! Imagine having your bestest buddy from Secondary, Poly and Uni...all celebrating in the same place, counting down and welcome the New Year?...It's such a great feeling! We celebrated at Meritus Mandarin Hotel, the Observation Lounge located on the 38th floor. Or rather, most people will know the place as "Top of the M", where you get a scenic view of our little Island! And of coz, we can get a good view of the Fire Works Display on both sides - Esplanade as well as Sentosa! Very cool indeed! Since it was a first come first serve basis, my Uni gang and I were there to 'chop' seats at 8pm! Only for yesterday, they have this Cover charge thingy, that is $25/pax and includes 1 drink + a complimentary Party-Pack. Had so much fun with the party pack that someone commented that me seemed to be celebrating Children's Day rather than New Year's Day! Haha

Buddy from Uni - Clara

Buddy from Poly - Ah Pow

Buddy from Secondary - Iris

Haha! We're all crazy people! There were so much laughter, foto-taking session, balloon bursting, wine, crapping etc. Indeed a memorable celebration to welcome the New Year. We took so much pix that I'm getting lazy to upload in here. Go view it in my flicker instead hor. Pai sei! Hee...Once again, here's wishing all a Happy New Year!
