Weilian....My Idol!!

Congratulations to Weilian for his successful concert @ the Max Pavilion, Singapore Expo on 22 April 2006! I was at his concert last night, together with mummy, sis, Clara, Qiuyu (Clara's sis) and Ah-Pow (Qiuyu's bf and oso my poly buddy). Hee...sounds complicating eh...Anyway, it was a great performace by Weilian. Special guest for his concert were Chai Chun Jia and Jason (tink also from superstar, who is Weilian's buddy during the competition). And the rest of the Project Superstars were also there. We saw Wu Jiaming and some other song writers there as well.

Yeah! We managed to get really up close and personal with him. And thanks to the tall Clara, who stand on the seat to get this pix. We actually took quite a lot of pix, but most of them quite blurr lah. Still....better than nothing! Hee...He's really quite funny on stage as well. Very real and quite chatty. But he speaks pretty fast, prolly coz a bit kan cheong lah. But we're really impressed with him, coz he sang soooo many songs, but got only 1 or 2 songs where he forgot his lyrics. After this concert, I support him even more and I get pretty pissed off when people tells me negative remarks about him. I support him is not because I pity him. I've been to several trade shows/events where he performed and I'm truly convinced of his singing abilities. And he does not even undergo any proper singing lessons before. So I hoped that people who have not seen him perform 'live' before, please kindly keep your mouth shut and stop passing un-constructive comments.

Anyway, after the concert, me went for a 2nd round. Nah...not concert, but mid-night movie! Went Plaza Sing to watch "8 Below". Quite a nice move. Hmm....a lot of people say watch this movie will cry one, coz it's very touching....eh....but I din cry leh. Maybe I'm cold-blooded! Muahahahahaha....ok, maybe coz I dun have dogs at home, so can't really feel lor. After movie, went eat prata and only got home around 4+am! It has been a really long time since I went home so late. Can't even remember when was the last time.

Gota Zzzzz now. It's gona be a tough week ahead! Gona station @ Singapore Expo from tomorrow till Friday; and Saturday will be @ Toa Payoh HDB Hub for another event. Want Free Kopi?....Come find me then! Haha....Nitez....

A very very hectic and busy week for me! Hardly got time to shake legs and eat snake in the office lately! *Oops!*.....Ok, some updates! We're one of the proud sponsors for SuperBand!! Due to confidentiality, I shall not reveal the details here. But do support ok! And the best part: Free tix for the weekly live recordings & also for the semi/ grand finals!! Muahahaha.....Yeah!!.....Anyway, my fav bands so far - BRODS & J3! Hee....I'm gona support them! And I'm superly Happy, coz I've got 3 pairs of FREE tix to Chen Weilian's Concert next Sat!! Somemore it's the front seats! *evils laughter*....All thanks to the sales person who service our account! *Woohhoooo*....Ahhh! And also, FREE cinema tix as well! But they always give out last min, so end up I'll usually give the tix to someone else.

Was @ JB, JUSCO on Monday for a location shoot. Wah piangz! Now then I realised that it's not easy to be a celebrity, production crew or even as TV Extras!!!....Imagine we have to be under the scorching sun from 9am till 4pm! And becoz the filming was pretty smooth, not much hicups, so it wrapped up early! Otherwise I tink it will stretch all the way till late evening! But it's pretty fun to be part of the production crew! But it's a tough job! Due to confidentiality again, I'm not able to reveal too much details for this shoot. Will update when the time is ripe though. Hee....

Hmm....prolly it's due to the shoot on Monday, have been feeling so exhausted since then! And also my events are coming soon, so I've got work pilling up. Have been working late except on Tuesday, coz it was my Darling sister's Birthday!...Had a little celebration @ Home. It's our family tradition actually. We'll usually buy a cake, sing the usual Birthday Song, blow candles and cut the cake! Birthday mah...muz have the "qi-fen" wat! Haha....And this year, I decided to buy something different for my sis. Previously, I always buy standard items such as watch, perfume, soft toy or the girly stuffs, which is kinda boring actually. But this year is kinda different! Increase in budget coz me working liao mah, somemore got my sis-in-law to chip in....so I decided to buy a Samsung MP4 player for her!!


Actually I was intending to buy an MP3 player, either the iPod or Creative Neon. But when I down to Sim Lim to check it out, nothing catches my eye. And for that price, I just need to top up a little and I can get this player, which is 6GB, got video and voice recording, games etc. And it works on microsoft software, so will not have problems such as different file formats etc. And it looks so cool & sleek, something I guess my sis will like. Am I correct?...Oink Oink?? BUT then, the player kena hanged the 1st day she used it. Apparently, she skipped the tracks too fast lah...so I tink the player cannot take it, so it hanged on her! So funny! But I found it a bit weird lor....pay so much, end up hang! Somemore it's Samsung leh! *rolls eyes*....anyway, see how it goes first lor.

Birthday Boys!

Happy Birthday to the 2 boys in my Company, Andrew & Deric!....Ya, they're just like little boys, especially yesterday @ Costa Sands Chalet....Come to tink of it, their combined age is approximately 60++ liao....Mmm...Ok, I'm still only 24+++! *blushes*...Anyway, had lotsa fun last night. Good food, good wine & great company!

As Birthday Boys, naturally they'll have to be tekan by Us!! *evils grin*...They were forced to drink all sorts of funny liquor!....Fortunately they were not drunk, prolly juz a little tipsy tat's all.

YES!!! A Shimmering Female Sandals!! Muahahahahahahahaa.....*click on image to get a bigger/clearer view*....Ok, what happens was that my another colleague wanted to learn bladding. So the kind soul, Ben Tan lent her his blades, but his flip-flops was in the chalet so he had to slip onto her sandals which was Soooo comical! We were practically laughing our heads off! And he nearly killed me for taking so mani pix of his *gasp*, pretty feet?! Hahaaha....Anyway, me being a kind soul as well, I swopped my birkenstock with him lah. See, mi so nice rite! Haha

Guilty...But it's not exactly my fault wor

Dear Ah-Ben, I am feeling so guilty & apologetic now...for calling you at the wrong place, at the wrong time yesterday afternnon, causing you to buang your car into...*gasp* A Kerb, resulting your car tyre to be punctured and the front bumper badly damaged. *rolls eyes*....But you see, I had only wanted to ask you about the Big Paintings in the store room @ 2nd level....Understand from Cindy that you had several missed calls from office, but I only made that 1 Call!! Of all calls you dun pick up, u picked up mine and it has to be MY call that you have to Bang your Car! So...you can't totally blame me also rite?....Din noe tat you so heng wor! Buy 4-D/Toto oso not so zun!...And now that your car is in the hospital and hospitalisation charges will amount to around $2k, resulting you having to rent a car to move around, I'm feeling kinda guilty also wor. But but....u shld not be driving & answering calls at the same time....tat's wat Unlce-Sam always tells us also. Anyhow, in future if I need to find you, I shall first sms you then you return my call ok.

(Yes! I'm the guilty one who caused my colleague, Ah-Ben to meet with an accident. Driver is ok, but car not ok. Well, as mentioned, it's an Accident...nobody wants to it happen also! *rolls eyes*...Come to think of it, it's actually quite funny...but I'm glad tat my colleague din blame me, though he keep 'diao' me! Hahahaaha....Anyway, he's a record holder... for being the Most Reckless Driver in my Company. Period.)

Was @ JB last Thursday for some photo-shooting of our new coffee plant. Really an eye-opener. The last time when I went in a few months back, they were still building the structure, but now, it's all ready and will start operating very soon. Due to confidentiality, I'll not be able to post up the pix of the coffee plant. But there's nothing much also lah....only those pipes, big big machines, more pipes and buttons etc.! haha....But it's really state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities. Very cool indeed!

It may seemed that I've fun there, but you're wrong! It was tough job leh. The place is still very dusty, but the workers are cleaning up...then it's so damn warm inside...and we have to walk and walk and walk!

Lunch was good! Free treat from duno which director and also got to know some from the Sugar & Flour industry. All are uncles but they're quite funny lah. Since my colleague and I are the only females and the rest, i.e. 9 of them are all males, of coz we're being treated better! Hee hee

The whole photo-shoot ended around 4pm and by then, it was raining dogs & gorillas. Superly heavy downpour! Still, we headed down to JUSCO for food and groceries! Can't believe that I can spend RM80 in supermarket! Kaoz....I tink I'm really a shopping queen! Anywhere and everywhere also can shop! Anyway, we had some rest, and headed back to SG around 6+ and due to the heavy traffic, we got back at nearly 8pm! Well, it's alwaiz so packed @ the causeway!

Friday was an off-day for me. Slacked around a bit @ home, and suddenly went ki-siao and was so enthusiastic to trim & colour my hair. So I headed down to #1 Salon in Bishan, as recommeded by my Sister to get it done! Yes, this is also the place where I had my eye-brown embriodery done. Anyway, if you like your hair to look like those in Jap magazines, I do recommend you to go there, coz the stylist, Jason does a lot of layering. And the fringe, he'll cut it like those messy but stylish type. He also recommend the hair colour, which is such a refreshing change for me. It was actually 2-colour tone thingy, but since my hair has already got the brown tone, end up it seemed that I have 3 hair colour tone! Ash-Green, Brown, light brown! When I got home, my sis realised that I actually share the same hair colour tone as my DOLL!!!

Ok...click on the pix to enlarge it and you'll get what I mean! ahahahaha....But I really like the hair colour, coz that very day, one of the waitress @ Swensens actually complimented my hair colour and asked me what shade is that, coz she wanted to colour something like that but turned out to be different! But I guess most people are not used to my new image leh....some say I look so dao, some say I look havoc! *rolls eyes*

My New Peko doll which I bought @ the Fujiya shop @ Narita Airport! She's sooo cute and costs 3,000yen and I know I just have to get her to board the plane with me back to SG! Haha

My sis's doll kena bullied by moi! But he seemed to be enjoying himself in the pao-lu-dai, which is my papa's document bag! *evils laughter*


New 'members' on my CPU @ work! Yes...it's my very own toyland in the office!....I'm still a kid wat! Hee Hee....and very soon, they'll have a new home coz I'm gona have a brand new computer next week, inclusive of new monitor, keyboard and mouse.....FINALLY!!....Sometimes, it's really quite frustrating working on a not-so fast comp which also seriously lacked of many functions. It definately slows down efficiency. Ok...I noe I'm just finding excuses for myself for under-productivity! hahahahahaha.....Anyway, am looking forward to next Wednesday!......*yippie*!!
