Am on leave today but it seems that I feel more tired than when I'm actually working! And shit always happens when I'm on leave!! Arrgg! I've just shut down my lappy this morning, ready to go out jalan-jalan and have some of my personal time when my malaysia counterparts called with bad news. It's really complicating and being the paranoid me, worrying that my Malaysia counterparts might send the wrong info, I switched on my lappy again, then send a simple email to my Japan counterparts to inform them of the bad news, as well as to ask them to provide us with the correct information. With that, I cc-ed everyone in the email, informing them that I AM ON LEAVE, so that Malaysia and Japan can settle among themselves! Haha...

I finally went to AMK Hub today! Partly it was for job since we've an on-going promotion there and one of my promoters seemed to have a misunderstanding with one of my Operations guy. So went down to understand more about the situation from her as well as to do some market survey. Haiz...even on off days, I can't seem to get my mind off work. Anyway, AMK Hub was a pretty good place to walk around with plenty of shops, that unfortunately doesn't interest me much. The hypermarket i.e. NTUC Xtra is definately an interesting place. But even on a weekday Friday, it's superly crowded. I doubt I'll be going there unless I have to.

And.....*drum-rolls*....I've gotten myself the bag of the year!! "I'm Not A Plastic Bag" bag!!

It's definately superly roomy since it's supposed to be a supermarket shopping bag anyway. Unfortunately, it's not going to be sold in Singapore due to safety issues (duh! Stampede probably... heehee), plus it's a limited edition, I definately got a pretty good deal out from it, and best of all, I actually get to choose the colours since the text and trimmings come in different colours. Heehee...so much for telling myself to stop buying bags!! *rolls eyes*

Alright. Time for dreamland. Nitez

First & foremost, Congratulations to my sis being officially married. Okay, the actual ceremony is actually next year. But she has just registered her marriage in Japan already, so she is now *ahem* Obasan!!??.....Muahahaha....Guess she's gona kill me if she's reading this. So, I reckoned that at her wedding next year, my relatives are so gona bombard me with this question: "When is your turn!!??"....Good question. But please find me a man. A good man to be precise before I can answer you. Thank you very much.

Now, it's not that I do not want to find a man. And it's not that my girlfriends do not want to find a man either. But it seems that the problem of the local guys are just simply shallow, narrow-minded and petty. And not forgetting that they are egoistic, totally male chauvnisit pig!! Ok, before the guys start to retaliate and shoot me in the brains, I'm just pin-pointing those black sheeps whom I happened to know recently. I shall not elaborate more since it lowers my intelligence level by doing so. Well, of coz there're nice ones around for sure, but probably they are either married, gay or dead and of coz, 'floating' somewhere out there! So....*scratch heads*....not much of a choice eh!

Somehow, I'm hoping for a miracle....but I know most likely it's not going to happen.....Life goes on for now coz I know The One will appear someday....

Movie Reviews!

Caught 2 movies on Monday and Tuesday, courtesy of MediaCorp & Scorpio East Entertainment respectively.

Monday was Rush Hour 3. Not too bad a moive I thought. I mean, Jackie Chan's ang-moh movie is pretty predictable with his stuns and humours. John Tucker is quite funny too. Worth the money to watch even if it's on a weekend. Clara (my bestie) and I were laughing our heads off!

Tuesday was the local movie 881 by Roystan Tan. Hmm...It's quite okay. I personally feel that the media has overated the movie. Oh maybe coz I don't really understand Hokkien? Nah....anyway, there're subtitles. For my personal preference, I still enjoy those directed by Jack Neo for local movies. It's pretty individual I guess. Anyway, my bestie seems to enjoy it though. As it was a gala premier, we met many celebrities. We had a good time observing them and bitching about their figure, boobs, 6-packs....blar blar blar. Yeah....gals!

Pix to be uploaded soon. Anyway, here's wishing Singapore a Happy 42nd Birthday!!! Enjoy the holidays people!

Sunday Post

Extracted this from one of my friend's blog. Super Funny lah! Enjoy! :D

To all Employees:

Effective from July 2007

Dress Code

1. It is advised that you come to work dressed according to your salary. If we see you wearing Prada shoes and carrying a Gucci bag, we assume you are doing well financially and therefore do not need a pay raise.

2. If you dress poorly, you need to learn to manage your money better, so that you may buy nicer clothes, and therefore you do not need a pay raise.

3. If you dress just right, you are right where you need to be and therefore you do not need a pay raise.

Sick Days

We will no longer accept a doctor's certificate as proof of sickness.
If you are able to go to the doctor, you are able to come to work.

Holiday Days

Each employee will receive 104 personal days a year. They are called Saturday & Sunday.

Compassionate Leave

This is no excuse for missing work. There is nothing you can do for dead friends, relatives or co-workers. Every effort should be made to have non-employees attend to the arrangements.

In rare cases where employee involvement is necessary, the funeral should be scheduled in the late afternoon. We will be glad to allow you to work through your lunch hour and subsequently leave one hour early.

Use of Toilet Facility

1. Entirely too much time is being spent in the toilet. There is now a strict three-minute time limit in the cubicles.

2. At the end of three minutes, an alarm will sound, the toilet paper roll will retract, the cubicle door will open, and your picture will be taken.

3. After your second offence, your picture will be posted on the company notice board under the 'Chronic Offenders' category.

4. Anyone caught smiling in the picture will be sanctioned under the company's mental health policy.

Lunch Break

1. Skinny people get 30 minutes for lunch, as they need to eat more so that they can look healthy.

2. Normal size people get 15 minutes for lunch to get a balanced meal to maintain their average figure.

3. Chubby people get 5 minutes for lunch, because that's all the time needed to drink a Slim-Fast.

Thank you for your loyalty to our company. Remember we are an employer of choice and we are here to provide a positive employment experience.

Therefore, all questions, comments, concerns, complaints, frustrations, irritations, aggravations, insinuations, allegations, accusations, contemplations, consternation and input should be directed elsewhere.

It's a Saturday and I'm actually home watching DVD - Apocalypto. Pretty good movie though it's pretty gruesome. Anyway, it's definately so unlike of me, coz I make it a point not to stay home and rot especially on Saturdays! But well, since my dates are unavaliable, neither do I wish to go out with any Tom, Dick or Henry...I shall stay home till evening; dinner with my parents and then hot date with my beloved lesbian partner for kopi when she's avaliable. Heehee... Seriously, it's quite a good feeling to be staying home, watching DVDs alone. Maybe I shall do that more often. Save money! Muahaha....Speaking of which, lately has been a very stressful period for me. Lotsa hicups here and there during work and some of which should not even be my problem! Well, since am a Bao-Sua-Bao-Hai Exe, I shall stop complaining. Currently, my only solace is through eating and shopping therapy! The amount I've been spending on both is quite scary actually. But at least that makes me a happy gal! *beams* My pretty recent loot is a Longchamp foldable Tote bag. Super roomy and I can practically throw everything inside. Well, the only thing is that it's MADE IN CHINA (MIC)!! Seems that even those luxury goods co. are also moving towards lower production costs. *rolls eyes* I hoped LV won't be one of them in near future!

Come next Saturday, I shall have a feast with my buddies at Miramar Hotel; the Ikoi Jap Rest. It's a relatively well-known place now since it's mostly spread through word of mouth for it's FREE FLOW of Sashimis, Tempuras....etc. It's an a-la-carte buffeat so we shall eat to our heart's content. Did I just mention about food theraphy earlier? My timely sms to inform one of my buddies on the confirmation indeed made his day, as he is currently in reservist, outfield training. Hmm....I guess he should be still in the jungle right now! Hehe....Well, that reminds me of my event next Sunday. And the best part, the event set-up is on a Saturday, supposdly after 5pm! WTF. But well, I managed to pushed it earlier to 3pm, hence, I'm gona gobble my food, rush to Suntec for set-up, and then rush to Pasir Ris for my friend's house-warming, before heading home to rest since there's work on Sunday. No Life again!

Plans to go Ikea have been pushed back again but I would really love to go there very soon. The tempting chicken wings, salmon....and lovely furnitures and storage boxes blar blar. I know I'm mad, but things like that makes me happy lah, even if it's just using eye-power only! And yes, I'm also making plans to visit the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple in Chinatown. Most likely it'll be this coming public holiday, after which we can head down to Esplanade for some food and fireworks at night. Anyway, nothing concrete for now but hoped that it will be implemented though.

Think I left out a post entry on the local kids of today. Most, being the only child in the family, they tend to be superly spoilt and just...well, ill-mannered which boils down to their upbrining. Just last weekend when I was doing the Singtel roadshow, I met a very nasty kid, whom I think is in Primary 3 or 4. She was superly rude to her maid when she accidentally spilled coffee onto her. I looked at her in disbelievement as such harsh words actually came out from the kid. I'm not going to elaborate what she said, but I was just very tempted to tell the kid off. Then again, if her parents do not even bother and instill the right morales and values into her, why should I, a stranger even care? Anyway, her parents weren't around. But I was just so disgusted by her behaviour. Come to think of it, I'm am thankful that I'm not being brought up in the wrong way. I don't deny that I'll have my princess temper and attitude problem in my own ways; at least I show respect to people. And I reckoned that being a teacher is no longer an easy task since now they have to manage very spoilt kids as well. Having difficult parents who 'support' their kids wrong behaviour doesn't help too. *shrugs*....guess that's our society of today.

So much for my Saturday random post. Gona head out for dinner with parents soon. Blog again soon!

Stupid blogger! Duno what the hell went wrong again for the past few weeks! Or maybe it's my Mozilla again!! Arrggg!! But since I manage to see my idol and take pix with him again, I shall refrain from cursing too much coz I'm a happy girl...for now!

Attended the press conference for the movie "881" today. Think it's some Geitai thingy movie by Roystan Tan. Actually, I missed the whole part of the press conference as I was held up by another meeting elsewhere. By the time we reach there, the press are already interviewing or taking pix of Qi Yiwu, May & Choi etc. And I was thick-skinned enough to request for a pix to be taken with Qi Yiwu again! Haha....The last time I took pix with him was @ a Mediacorp event 2 years back I guess. He's super cool lah so much so that my heart stopped beating for that 5mins when we took pix together! Muahaha....yeah, I know I sound like some teenagers again, going gaga over some idols. But who cares!!!

And my Favourite! besides Peko...The Teletubbies!! OMFG! So cute can!! I Love Po!!! In case you don't know, Po is red in colour. And they are the real teletubbies all the way from UK! Well, this was taken when I was working at the Singtel Mega Fair just over the weekend. Next Sunday I'll have another roadshow again! *pouts* There goes my long weekend! Prolly the thought of 2 free movies waiting for me next week will somehow motivate me a little I guess. I've got tix for the gala premier to Rush Hour 3 on Monday and 881 on Tuesday. I've even forced my bestest fren to change her facial appointment just so that she can accompany me watch since it's a pair of tix. *evils laughter*

Time to Zzzz....still gota attend a shoot tomorrow morning. But I guess it's gona be quite fun! Good nightz!
