Have caught the lazy bug recently hence the lack of updates! Heehee....oh well, but I have been pretty busy with my own stuffs as well. Unfortunately, I can't exactly remember what was it. Anyway, some random pix from the past few weeks....

The (apparently) famous ramen is not too bad. Pretty authentic. The stewed pork is pretty good as well. Luckily we went early, so we did not have to queue. Generally, you'll have to wait pretty long, considering the place to be relatively small, even though the service was pretty fast. And my latest craze following that.....

STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE!! This was from Coffee Club (if I remember correctly). Not too bad. The cake is soft and spongy, with pretty generous amount of strawberries embedded inside the cake. *drools*....The strawberry shortcake at Isetan Scotts, the Japanese bakery shop (can't remember its name) is really good as well. But it's pretty pricy. Around $4.80 for a really small slice but it's all worth it. Of coz, it can't beat the ones I had in Tokyo! Cheap and Good! Japan has got *double drools*

Following that week, I had a BBQ with my colleagues. It was pretty fun and an interesting experience to mingle with the guys from our production side, mostly from PRC. Best of all, there're actually 2 cute guys and we had had a great fun teasing them! Heehee

I think we gals made the most noise that night....Gals will be gals ya! Muahahaha....The night ended pretty early due to the slight drizzle. Nonetheless, it was still fun and the food was really good!

Hmm...nothing much to blog on work for now. Oh, but if you've heard on the radio, Yes, we'll be back to sponsor the Mediacorp Radio Subaru Challenge 2007! I'll be the one to handle the whole event again. Stress-stress! But with the experience from last year, hoped that everything will be smoother this time round. *keeps fingers crossed*....There goes my sleep and weekends! Sobz!....As usual, following that will be the Asia Pacific Food Expo 2007. So my November will be packed with 2 major events. Do come on down to look for me and I promise to give you free coffee! Heehee

On a totally irrelevant topic, I went to the Jurong Bird Park yesterday!!! It had been a zillion years since I last visited. Not much changes, maybe for the exterior? Or maybe I can't really remember as well.

The biggest man-made waterfall is still around.....not much changes I guess.

Flamingos!....So pretty lah! Indeed a nice place for weddings if you're a Bird person! Haha...Basically, go to the Bird Park only when you think you're really too free and have some spare cash. Seriously, speaking from the point of a local, the prices are really exorbitant! Entrance fee with panorail ride (optional) is $22! Somemore the panorail ride is not those unlimited rides! Anyway, I doubt I'll be going to the Bird Park for the next 10 years!

This coming Tuesday is the Mooncake Day! Wooohooo!...Can't wait to show off my new lantern! Hahaha.....It's gona be at Bishan Park again. Gona be kiasu and go down earlier this year so that there'll be parking lots!!!....This year I also had lotsa mooncakes! All thanks to the generous suppliers we have. Whatever brands you name it, we have it. Be it snowskin, traditional skin, exotic flavours, ice-cream mooncakes, it's like our tea break every day! I've yet to get sick of it for now, so I'll still be gorging myself silly with my snowskin mooncakes (with egg as well as champagn & white chocolate) Yum-yum!

Here's wishing all an early Happy Mid-Autumn Festival! We shall see The Moon, Chang-Er & her Labbit on Tuesday! Muahaha......

A* Student!

You Scored an A

You got 10/10 questions correct.

It's pretty obvious that you don't make basic grammatical errors.
If anything, you're annoyed when people make simple mistakes on their blogs.
As far as people with bad grammar go, you know they're only human.
And it's humanity and its current condition that truly disturb you sometimes.

Weekend Outings

This is probably the 3rd of 4th time I went to an Army Open House. But it wasn't as fun or exciting compared to this time round. Probably with the right companion (my friend who used to be from SISPEC), he's still super garung and onz when it comes to anything related to AMRY!! I seriously wonder why didn't he sign on during then. Hmmm....anyway, we had great fun conquering Peng Kang Hill & FOFO Hill! Due to the bad weather in the morning, it was really wet, muddy and slippery! Well, it's definately not like your Bukit Timah Hill trail with concrete steps and probably railings along the way. Thanks to all the "Ah-Bing-Ge", they actually laid 700 sandbags, just for the Army Open House to let civilians like us step on it! Heehee...

Crawling Up is Peng Kang Hill....And Rolling Down is FOFO Hill! Muahaha....

Standing on FOFO Hill, opposite is Peng Kang Hill....aka Peng San Hill to me! It's no easy task trying to scale up the little hill!

And yes, I'm on Peng Kang Hill....It does feel like being on top of the world!

Can you spot my name?...Nah, anyway it wasn't written by me lah obviously! I'm not as patriotic as my friend!! Oops....*roll eyes*

Yeaps! That's me trying to be funny when we're at the old bunk/camp. I was a little pissed not being able to hold the rifle coz the army personals gave all the chance to the kids. But remember? I'm also a kid what!? A Big Kid to be precise! Yet they somehow treated me to be invisible. *pouts*

One of my favourite pix taken there! And the best part for us at the open house........*drum rolls*..........

A CHANCE TO HAVE A LITTLE RIDE ON THE LIGHT STRIKE VEHICLE!!! WHoooooHooo....

I know it looks kinda dark, coz it's close to 7pm! We were actually the fortunate last batch of people who get onto the rides! Well, it definately does not interest the guys since most went through sh*t times in army. But of coz to gals like us, we'll go like "WAH!!! SOOOOO FUN!!!"....The ride on the light strike vehicle is indeed quite an experience. We were brought inside the battlefield and you'll be amazed how this vehicle can perform. But well, it's kinda noisy though. Unfortunately, did not take any pix of me in/with the vehicle coz all the army guys are like looking lah! Super pai sei okay!! *blushes* Even when I was trying to hop into the vehicle, trying hard to ensure that my head (with the helmet of coz) does not hit the side and one of the army guys (not too bad looking) was helping me to buckle, I was already superly pai sei liao lah!!

All in all it was good fun and a good experience. Many cute guys to see along the way as well! Muahahahaha...Oh well, in case you don't know, I do have a...Hmm....fetish for guys in uniform!

That was how Sunday came and went. Saturday was spent at the bridal shop with my sister, for her gown first fitting. Her gown is so pretty can! Also helped her to choose her evening gown for photo shoot...Soooo sexy & pretty lah. Guess her hubby gona "liu bi xue" if he sees her in that gown! Muahaha

We finally went to Brewerkz again afer planning for soooooooo long! Miss my favourite beer, Golden Ale. I swear that it's even better than Hoegarden! (Well, that's in my dictionary lah)

Nice group shot, unfortunately Clara sis's eyes are shut lah! Oh! and surprisingly, the BBQ Chicken Wings are quite yummy. *drools*

Tomorrow we're gona try the (apparently) famous Ramen @ The Central. I can't wait!...I've already thought of what I want to order....Char Siew Ramen, with extra Char Siew! *Slurps*....Pix to be up, provided that I remember to even take in the first place as I might just be concentrating eating my Ramen!!
