Phew! Finally I can sit down, have some time to myself and blog. Work has been great for this week. Hopefully, it will always be like this. Hee...But of coz, I'll be super stressed after next week, coz it will the the Asia Food Expo 2005!! It will be my very 1st big event which I'm in-charged, hence, I'm really keeping my fingers crossed and hoped that nothing screws up!

Went shopping with one of my designers on Wednesday. We left the office for Taka around 11.20pm and shopped until 4pm. Hey! I'm not eating snake ok. I'm there on official business purposes...Haha!...i.e. to buy all the props, materials, ingredients etc. for our usage. I love Arts Friend. They really got all the materials to make those arty-farty stuffs. But their stuffs are pretty ex. But I guess, even Spotlight, which is in Plaza Sing, the art materials are also quite ex.

Today was great. I learned from my designers how to do Food Styling. It's really interesting to learn how to decorate the food nicely and make it look Yummy! And there're actually courses to learn Food Styling! Heard from my designers that those professional food stylers actually got a whole set of equipment, similar to that of a surgeon when they want to style the food! Anyway, I was there in the pantry for the whole afternoon, chopping and preparing the ingredients! muahahaha....

Had lots of food tasting this week. Sometimes, I just wished that my Company produces Chocolates! muahaha...then I can alwaiz eat chocolates for FREE!! *gibs the gien-peng look*

Oh oh!! People have noticed that I've become much slimmer!! Hee...all thanks to my brother...coz he's getting married next week. Hence, in order to fit into that 2 freaking dresses, I went on a super strict diet for nearly 1 month! Anyway, it's just 1 more week to go. I shall endure endure endure...and then go pig out after his wedding!!!

So excited! Next week only work 3 days! muahaha...How nice if everyday also public holiday! That reminds me. I really envy the chinese nationals. Some of you may not know about this. In China, their National Day = 1 week of holiday!! and for Chinese New Year = 2 weeks of holiday!!! In Singapore...erm...well, I think it's time for me to sleep. Nitez!...Zzzzz....Sweet Dreams to Myself!

Singapore Fashion Week 2005

Attended the Fashion Show on Tuesday in The Arts House @ the Old Parliament House. It was indeed a good location for such events or rather, arty-farty events. So we were "ministers" for that night! haha...Took some pix, but it wasn't that clear as the models walk so fast!! Love most of the clothes that the designer, Beno designed. Infact, my sis and I bought our day dressess, which is to be worn on our brother's wedding from him. His shop, Benno La Mode is located in The Hereen, Level 4.



The models are soooo tall, and pretty! But the chest a bit flat lor! muahaha...Yeaps, that guy is the designer...He's a very very nice guy and quite funny oso! The clothes are very nice rite?? Mi oredi aim a few pieces liao! Heh heh...

Took some pix with my sis, my manager, colleague etc. but due to a super bad hair day, I'm not gona post it here! muahaha

I'm So BUSY!!

Caught the Lazy Bug lately, hence the lag in updates. But I've also been extremely busy with work as well. Weekdays pass very quickly, let alone weekends. Haiz...Counting down to the 2 Public Holidays in Novemeber! Seriously need a break, but dun wan to waste my annual leave or take unpaid leave just to rot at home.

Can't seem to install the Photoshop properly on my laptop, so no foto collages for the time being. Gona seek professional help from my colleagues.

It's really scary to see time just pass by so quickly without even knowing it yourself. No doubt Mondays are alwaiz bluess...however, it usually pass quite fast and then it's another week...and another month.

Past few weeks had been sooo hectic that I don't dare to look at my calender. Coz all my appointments for the following week and the next and next... have all been planned! Let me see...Monday need to do up my press kit stuffs. Tuesday full day meeting - Morning with Advertising Agency; Afternoon with the Media people. Then at night, gota attend the Fashion Show. Wednesday - Outside meeting with the Research Co. and Retail Stores. Thursday - Full day important internal meeting. Ok...I'm left with only Friday...i.e. to clear up all my other outstanding jobs! And I've got the Big event coming up in November, and I'll be fully in-charge of that event. *faints* Meanwhile, I still don't need to work OT everyday *touchwood*, but I don't rule out the possibility. Strangely, I still enjoy my work very much.

My darling sis came back from her mini honeymoon yesterday. As usual, she bought me my fav stuffs - Peko and Hello-Kitty! *yippie* Oh! and she also help Miss Clara bght the nail art book, coz it's definately much cheaper there as compared to buying it from Kino.

Oh! Mi finally collected my Graduation Stage Photo and Plaque. It was such a long wait! I'm really lazy lah...so will try to take pix and post it up. Hey, I have to be on battlefield everyday at work leh...so when I get home, I really need to slack and rest my brain cells etc. to get ready for battle again the next day. That's how the FMCG Industry works anyway!!

I'm going K-Box tml! Yippie! I love to sing...Singing helps me destress. That day my manager's sis and I were in the conference room singing away. After having our own mini concert, we wondered if one of the directors, who's sitting just next to our room actually heard us! muahaha...Soo ma-lu!

There're Sooooo many such bloody stupid people around! I seriously wonder what such people do in their free time. Well, prolly alwaiz make a big hoo-ha over little issues. Had enough of meeting such stupid people. It's pretty hard to accept the fact that there're such strange people in this world. What's wrong with these people? Met a really terrible one lately. Hope this person slip, fall and die on its own shit, drown in its own saliva, choke and die while brushing teeth, lose its voice for shouting and being rude to people, and best of all, bite off and get choke on its own tongue while scolding people! Yes, I know it's not good to curse. But some people, or rather these inhumans deserved it.

Happy Birthday Uncle Mat!

It's Unlce Mathew's Birthday today. Like what he loves to tells us alwaiz: "I share the same birthday as Ayumi, 02 October!!"...That funny Nanny of ours. We celebrated @ Crystal Jade (Causeway Point). Clara, Shan-Mei, Chiuyu and Moi shared and bought him a Braun Buffel wallet.

It was a simple birthday celebration and we hoped that he had a good time. The above photo collage is done by me again! Hee...got the software from my colleague, so I'm still trying hard to practice!...So...more photo collages to be uploaded soon, provided that I'm not lazy! :D

Went to JB last Friday on a Business + Shopping + Eating Trip! muahaha. Went on a plant tour to our factory in JB. It was really an eye opener! Went to see how our food products are being manufactured etc. And our factory in Malaysia is really huge!! Anthony brought us to a really good resturant, where our Malaysia counterparts treated us to a Yummy lunch! Soooo delicious! I Love eating in Malaysia! Cheap & Good! Then we went to Giant for some market research where we bought lotsa food stuffs! Then went to our Malaysia factory for quite a while. After that, we headed to JUSCO! It's actually a Jap shopping centre. Surprised that they actually hab JUSCO in JB! It sells quite a lot of Jap food stuffs, but price not very cheap though. Anthony recommended the bakery shop, Lavender. We sat down and had kopi + Kaya toast. Very delicious!! *drool*...And I oso dar-bao some cakes and kueh back. Papa and Mummy oso say its nice!

By the time we finish shopping and resting, it's oredi 6pm. The traffic was oredi very bad at 4.30pm. So we decided to head back Singapore through 2nd Link. But before that, we headed down to Angsana Shopping Centre to dar-bao Mee-Rubus! Apparently, it's one of the most famous stalls around. And that greedy Anthony could not wait, so he ordered 3 plates to fill up his stomach, and ours too! And of coz, not forgetting my chicken balls, at the Esso petrol kiosk before heading back sg! We got back office around 8.30pm...quickly unload our stuffs and all headed back home! I guess all of us put on 2kg manz! It's really "mai dong xi, chi dong xi"!! A fun-filled Friday, but it's definately more tiring than sitting in the office and work! But still, hoped that there'll be more such trips again! hee...
