One of my Colleagues gave this to me...Blueberry Wafer Stick!! Dun remember seeing it in Singapore. I oni noe got this famous brand, "Apollo" which makes wafers oso, and has got oni Chocolate and Strawberry flavour. I used to buy it and munch when I was in Primary school. Then bght 1 whole carton of it when I was in JB, coz it was damn cheap! Mmm...prolly shld go in JB one of these days and stock up on my snacks again! hee...

Anyway, tink tis Blueberry wafer was given to my colleague by some overseas client. And it's my one and only one...can't bear to eat it. Guess I'm juz gona keep it. In case u're wondering, my Kopi-Gum is still around..."preserved" in a safe place! hee hee

Short Updates

Phew! Finally the Food Fair ended yesterday. Went home pretty late last nite, coz we stayed back to help and pack up all the stocks and other stuffs.

Went Expo earlier to shop shop before the fair starts! Hee... Mi bght $30 worth of Nougats! ahaha...I love Nougats ok! *Yummy*...then bght chocolate biscuits, sweets. And since I'm wearing our Co. Polo-T, so the stall owners will usually gib us extra freebies! And best of all, we do not even hab to pay!! It's FOC!! Heh Heh...So I got 1 bottle of duno wat cooking oil, and 6 packets of those Fried Kway Tiao Sauce, all FREE!! Then at times we eat food like Bee-hoon and fake abalone, bbq stingray etc., it's oso FOC!

Then saw Chen Tian Wen at the Food Fair. Geeze! He's quite yandao looking leh, though he seemed to hab shrunk in size! ahaha...Heard from Mummy tat he quite old liao...tink 40+! Yeaps...like wat ppl say: Men 40 = Dagon! Tat's very true wor.

Our sales for the Food Fair was pretty good. One of products all sell until no more stocks left. Even warehouse oso no more stocks, which is a good thing! Guess we were really aggressive.

Then one of my salesman so poor thing. He lost his wedding band at the fair! Tink prolly he was carrying the goods or wat then dropped off lor. And best of all, his zip spoil! ahahhahahhahaha...SOooo hilarious! So he tucked out all the way and hide behind the booth lor. Cannot say who lah, else if he noes, he sure murder me! But he's one of the best colleagues since I joined the company, even though he alwaiz like to disturb me! But the sales guy all very nice ppl except for 1! *roll eyes*...Oh well, not gona mention it here. It's true tat the longer u work, the more u observe, the more u noe, and the more disgusted u'll get! Well, tats Working life...! So really gota work Smart!

Uncle Mat went for his so-called first interview today. Hoped that it went well for him. And today is my other poly buddy, Ah-Huat's Birthday! Hee...Happy Birthday Ah-Huat! Hope u faster find gf oso k! ahaha

Work today was ok. Oni thing is tat my mailbox was kana bombarded! *faints*...Had to clear up all the unread messages, follow up on some issues, complaint letters etc. etc. Haiz...need to get my engine started for serious work again. Haiz...

Will end this short short update here. Going for my prata session! Mmm... Been binging so much on food, snacks, rubbish etc. that I'm feeling so FAT now! Arrrggg!!...OH well, I'm juz rewarding myself for all the hard work of standing for the past few days, and I'm sure I've burnt off lotsa calories oredi. Hee...

Singapore Food Expo

Phew! Lucky neber kana recall back to work today and tml! At least I can still rest my tired feet for 2 days before gg back to Expo on Monday, which is oso the last day of the food fair.

Had a pretty fun time in Expo even though it was really super tiring!...Guess I had become an Auntie overnite as well...gota speak in the auntie lingo, shout like one and tok like one! Haiz...there goes my "demure" image! ahaha....yaya...I noe lotsa ppl gona puke while reading this...Anyway, we were there...shouting, gaining as much attention and publicity as we could, coz sales seemed to be moving too slowly so we gota be really aggressive. Although our booth location is supposed to be the prime spot, somehow the crowd dun seem to be at our side. Prolly coz ppl tends to start walking either from the left or right side, i.e. the "S"-shape or Rectangle shape...Seldom in the middle, where we are located. So by the time they reach us, they are either too tired to come by our booth, or they hab oredi eaten their fill to actually sample our stuffs.

As usual, met with the 3 categories of ppl! Haiz...Expected lah. In a way, I'm immune oredi. But I told off 1 particular uncle. Coz he keep coming to our booth for sampling. Tink he came around 4 or 5 times and each time he came by, he'll take at least 2 cups. He's definately not one of the exhibitors. So I got quite pissed off...and by the 6th time I see him, this is wat I said to him (translated to Ang-Moh): "Uncle, U come again ah?...Me keep seeing u come for our kopi but why u neber buy ah?....Buy 1 packet and drink lah, so tat u dun need keep coming and take kopi frm us!"...ahahah...Ya lah, I noe I quite mean...but tat's not the way lor. At the rate he drink, it's equivalent to 1 kettle oredi! Ok lah, maybe I'm exaggaerating, but still...we're there doing business mah. Somemore can see tat he's not gg to buy one. Anyway, after telling him off...I neber see him come back liao! ahahah...maybe too pai sei to do tat lor. Hee...

Haiz...Even the Kids are driving me crazy! Coz we gib out free stickers mah, so all of them crowd around me for stickers. Then met with 1 little boy, whom I tink is the super hyperactive type. I tell u...he nearly drive me nuts!! Keep touching all the things, and I hab to put it back. I put back, he take out again! Kaoz! Then keep asking soooo mani questions, make so much noise, keep toking, keep running around...etc. etc. I nearly died!! I admire his mummy! She juz stand there and let the son be lor. *faints* Ok, at least they buy.

Oh yes! Toking abt stickers! Not oni the kids will grab frm u! Even the Uncles, Aunties, Ah-Pek and Ah-Ma oso grab! Coz they say take for their children lah, grandchildren lah....blar blar blar! Oh well, sometimes I wonder if they're taking for the sake of taking, simply coz it's free!...I even got 1 auntie who said this (translated to Ang-Moh again): "Izzit Free?...Free then I take." See wat I mean by Ugly Singaporeans? ....This is an example! *shakes head*

So lucky to escape the weekend madness! Coz it's definately gona be much worse than weekdays. Weekdays oredi so jialat liao, cannot imagine if it's weekends! Well, keeping my fingers crossed that Monday will not be so jialat, but hard to say oso lor, coz last day liao mah...ppl sure tink tat last day prices sure slashed one! Haiz...me haven got the time to shop there leh! No time to eat liao, let alone shop! Shall see Monday got time to "snake" a bit or not lor.

If I only have 1 wish, I would hope that this bloody Bastard will die in a terrible crash...his body all disembled, with magots and worms crawling all over his bits and pieces of flesh, and best of all, letting the Dogs eat them up!!

Can feel all the backstabbing and office politics now...Feeling Stressed, Pissed Off and Totally Disgusted! This Bastard ought to be SHOT DEAD! Hope tat he gets his retribution soon! People's got eyes, and I'm sure Guan Yin Jie Jie got eyes too...he will be punished for all the SINS he committed!

Yes...and this is the real cruel working life...it's sucks! :(

Super Super Tired!!!

Freaking tiring day! Worst than doing the roadshows in Loreal or Sony!...My legs are aching, am feeling super tired and sleepy...and I'm VeRy vErY HUNGRY right NOW!...No time to grab a bite even though I've got all the good food around me! Wata waste!...I wonder why I am piaing so hard oso leh....no extra pay, no time off...no nothing...Oh well, but tat's part of my job I guess. Juz hoped tat I won't kana "re-call" to work tis weekend!

Anyway, Sooo many interesting/happening things for me to blog on at the Food Expo today. However, I shall blog on it when I'm feeling more awake. Need to get some rest and fight another battle tml. Zzzz...

Moody

Felt better after toking to my fren, "gah gah meow" yesterday. Still feeling kinda moody and a bit blur blur lor. Am glad tat I've my work to keep mi occupied so tat I won't tink so much. Anyway, wana thank my frens for their concern. Xie Xie!...I'm ok...will be back to my normal self soon. (I hope)

Work today was quite fun. Went to Expo and help set up the stuffs for the Food Fair tml. Helped to pack and place the stuffs properly...decorate our booth etc. Am so excited to be there, coz got all my Favourite food stalls there!! Guess wat? Meiji Choco is juz Opposite our booth! Mi oredi aim the Hello Panda and the Yam-Yam! ahaha...then the Skylight Bao-Yu is beside us...wonder got free samples or not!...then my fav Pokka drink booth...Bak-Kua, Taiwan Sausage, Select Foods...etc. etc. Hee...can eat to my heart's content! Guess I've chosen the right trade to enter! ahahaha

It's gona be another short entry today...not much mood to blog, plus I'm really tired...tml's gona be a long long day at Expo, need a good rest. Will update again. Nite nite

Depression

It has been a long times since I last felt depressed. The feeling really sucks...Hoped that I can be back to my Happy self soon.... :( *sobz sobz*...Juz wana hug my peko and cry....

TNP Big Walk Road Show - The Ugly Singaporeans!

Wah! Very long neber sleep until so Happy liao. Hee...ok, where did I stop blogging last nite?...Yes, the interesting incidents and funny people in the road show yesterday.

Met A LOT of gien pengz people at the road show yesterday. I did so many roadshows before and yesterday's one really made me see the super Ugly sight of our locals, which makes me feel a bit disgusted actually. I've decided to categorised them.

1. The Greedy

Road Shows are meant for people to SAMPLE. According to Longman's Dictionary, Sample = Small part representing the whole. And we hab those typical AUNTIES and even UNCLES who will say things like: "Aiyo! Gime so little...I want more leh!"...OR...."Huh? So little?...Your cup so big, inside so little...gib a bit more lah!"...Ok, I taut tis is oredi quite bad until I met with worst people. Guess wat they did?...They happily transferred the kopi from the other cups into their OWN!! Kaoz! I'm really disgusted ok! Coz I'll fill the cups with kopi from the Kettle, then place the cups on the tray. So they juz self-service lor. And I even got some who will juz place their cups straight in my face and ask for refill!...*Pissed off*...Yes! Such people really exist. And those greedy ones usually neber buy. Juz try and try, coz free kopi wat! Then as usual, those try and try, say nice but gib all the lame excuse and Not buy. *shakes head*

2. The Thief

For every packet of kopi purchased, we will gib a free gift, which we placed on the table for people to SEE. However, we've got people who juz ke-siao walked past, drink a cup of kopi and happily take the free gift! Then we muz quickly stop them and tell them in a nice way tat muz buy then can get the free gift. And they're not at all feeling pai-sei! We've even got 1 who said something like tis: "Take 1 oso cannot"!.....*faints* Unfortunately, we still got 1 auntie who managed to steal our free gift whereby we couldn't stop her in time and let her slipped away into the crowd.

3. The Gien Pengz

As usual, we hab the gien pengz one lor. They will keep asking for more free gifts. Got 1 even happily self-service and stuff the extra 1 into her plastic bag and I gota take it out from her. And she gave me the 'buay-song' look lor. *Disgusted*

Within 1/2 a day, I can see all kinds of strange people around. When I see such behaviour around, I really dun feel proud to be a Singaporean. However, after much tinking, now I feel tat it's not the Nationality tat counts, it's a person's own personality and character that "moulds" them into like tat. Yeaps...these are the black sheeps of Singapore! They are the Ugly ones. Haiz...

Of coz, got some really nice people around lah. Those geniune buyers. They try, neber ask much and buy straight-away. I like their style! Hee...

Anyway, it was a really tiring day yesterday lor. I was there, keep pressing the kettle to dispense the kopi into the cup for ppl to sample until my hand oso numb! But it was really fun lor, coz we really started crapping and toking rubbish to the customers! Tink we sell until siaoz oredi! ahahhaa

And my Piggy fren @ Mada Kia came and find me, coz he went Big Walk with his friends mah. To tink tat he's my fren...wah lau! He belongs to the Category 1 & 3 type of Singaporean! So sia-suay to hab tis type of fren! ahahhaa....(tink he's gona kill me if he's reading this!)...anyway, I manged to 'persuade' him to buy 1 packet of kopi frm me! ahahaha....but duno why he keep insisting tat I conned him in buying! Haiz...I merely juz packed it and throw the kopi into his face and ask him to pay wat!...where got Con him???? ahahahahahahhaah....

The whole event ended around 12+pm. I was totally exhausted and hungry by then. Met up with friends for lunch nearby, then went back and sleep like a pig from 3pm till 8pm...woke up coz I'm hungry....so went out for dinner lor. Then went hm, blog a bit...then sleep until juz now. Well...tat's how I "kill" my time for the past 2 days. Guess today I'm juz gona stay hm and rot...too tired to go out, though I do feel like gg shopping leh. ahahah....coz tis weekend road show again wor, so no time to shop! hee....ya lah, it's juz another shopping excuse from May Leen. Anyway, road show tis week is from 26th - 30th, from 10am - 10pm. I duno if I'll be stationed there for full 5 days or not lah...but I dun mind to be there for 5 days even though the hrs are much longer and definately more tiring...at least no need stay in office mah! ahaaha...somemore it's a Food Fair...so I go around other stalls and eat their food! ahahahhaa....*drools*

Gona pack my room now. It's getting super messy as time goes by...and my cupboards are all flooded with clothes until Mummy is complaining! Need to get them packed, so that I can buy New ones! hee...

Updates!!

Guess it's gona be a super long entry again today. Sooo mani things to blog on for the past 2 days! Haiz...so fast today Monday liao...Sianz...back to work tml! *sobz*...and the next PH will be in August...Singapore's Birthday! Kaoz! Tats 3 more months leh!! Sianz!!...*pouts* But then, August will be my Convocation! Yeah!!...so really looking forward to August! Ok...let me recap wat I did on Saturday...

Saturday:

Mood oredi tuned to Shopping Mode. Got myself prepared and wanted to go out oredi. Realised tat Papa got no Lunch kaki, coz Mummy went Orchard shopping liao. So we went to Crystal Jade in Toa Payoh mum-mum. Since me at Toa Payoh, decided to go Shuang Lin Si pray pray. So went with Papa. Lucky me went with him else I sure at a loss! Coz me prayed Tai-Sui the other time, so the person say no need pray again, so he ask me pray to all the Gods instead lor. After praying, Papa dropped me off at Orchard. Me went Far East and bght 1 top and 1 skirt for work again lor. Then was on my way to Pacific Plaza when I saw Farrah, my SIM classmate, and we were really happy and excited on seeing each other lor. Realised that she's working in American Club as Membership Officer, while waiting for a reply from Emirates. Yeaps...she applied to be an air-stewardess. Tink she shld be able to get in lah, since she managed to go through the whole interview stages liao.

Me continued shopping after that. Bought quite a lot of stuffs on Saturday manz! Feeling so broke now...lucky end of month pay day coming soon! 7 days more! *hurray*...Called Mummy and met up with her in Paragon. Haha...she oso bght a lot of stuffs, so I'm not the oni one! Papa came to pick us up at Paragon for dinner. Ahahaha....dinner's at Jumbo Seafood again! ahahaa...oh! got 1 more dish to recommend! and tat's "Seafood You-tiao". It's actually sotong & prawn paste or someting lah, stuffed inside the fritters. It's very very nice. And they gib u the Rojak prawn paste sauce to go along with it. Yummy! Then we had black pepper crabs and the bbq fish...our standard dishes whenever we're there. Hee...

Me went hm around 8+ after dinner. Tuck myself into bed straight-away coz gona rest for like 3hrs and I'll be out again...till the very next day! Yes! End up still go to bed at 8pm. But ended up me slept 9+ or 10, coz cannot get to sleep lah. Somehow neber overslept lor...woke up at 11.15pm, change and get ready for the night! ahaha...Nope...neber go cheong or wat. I'm not a cheongster anyway. If u've guessed correctly...yes! aku went throw money in Long-Kang again! ahahhahhahahhaa...

Sunday:

went for midnight bowling in Marina South. Played very badly yesterday even though I managed to score 110 for 1 of the Games. Coz got mani ppl lah, then I cannot find the correct ball finger size for my fat fingers. Somehow the grip is juz not there. End up I made do with Ball Size 8. Then hor, the lane is so damn oily! Thus make the ball oso super oily! And guess wat?...While I was all ready and pose nice nice to throw, the stupid ball sliped off from my fingers and "bang"...the ball dropped behind me! Wah lau eh! So ma-lu ok!!...ahahha...and I was like: "Eh! Where's my Ball ah?"...haiz...si bei sia suay! Anyway, I found it really comical myself lah, so I kept on laughing non-stop. ahahaha...

Me played until around 4am...went had Supper until 5.20am. Lucky managed to arrive Stadium at 5.30am. Our sales team oredi there coz they muz report at 5am. So went 'networking' with them again lor. ahahaha....

The New Paper Big Walk Roadshow!!...Lotsa interesting incidents and loads of funny ppl around! *rolls eyes*...But I'm tired now...so blog again when I'm awake!...Hee....

An "Eng-Eng" Day!

Wah! How nice if everyday is like today!

1. No Boss = No Government = Lotsa Freedom = Slacking = Lobo!! *yeah*

2. Extended Lunch Hour! Manager whole day not in office but specially meet us for lunch outside. Actually was supposed to lunch out yesterday, but due to some communication break-down, so change to today. We went to this strange resturant in Yishun, juz somewhere beside NorthPoint, the multi-story carpark...tink it's called Crown Palace or something. Had "bu-fei"...but end up eat so much...end up become "veli-fei"!!...But then hor, the food there suxx leh...quite horrible actually. Apparently last time their ala-carte is still nicer, but now sub-standard liao. Ok...mayb not becoz the food not nice lah, prolly coz my expectations too high. But their lamb quite yummy...it's like medium done...so quite bloody, but juicy lor! ahahhaa....

3. As usual...being a Friday today, so everyone's mood very good lor. Plus, it's gona be a long weekend...so all the more ppl's mood is in high spirits!

Unfortunately, days of being so "eng" will be over very soon. Lotsa events are coming up, so I guess I'll be in charge liao if my Manager is keen to participate in it, and I reckoned that she will be keen lor. Haiz...

Quite pissed today actually. Kana arrowed AGAIN!! *ouch*...Damnz! It's a matter of time before this person will kana cursed by me until jia-jia-lat! No choice...I'm still a newbie. But hey! Dun tink I can be bullied OK!!

Heh heh...shall go shop shop again tml. Mmm...tink I shld pop into Guan-Yin Miao to pray pray Guan-Yin Jie Jie. Will not be able to stay out late tml nite, Sianz!....As mentioned in my earlier blog, I've to report for work at a freaking hour of 5.30AM! And juz now had a short briefing...was told to reach earlier if possible coz scare after cannot find parking or something! *faints*....Assuming if I hab to report for work at 5.30am, that means I hab to wake up at around 3.45am to get myself prepared!...I wonder if I can get myself outta bed or not manz! Anyway, hoped that the weather will be fine lah...no rain, but not too sunny...Cloudy i.e. no sun, lotsa dark clouds and windy...as if wan to rain but cannot rain kinda weather! Best! Coz not hot wat! ahahhaa....YA! tat reminds me of a SunBlock manz!...I dun wan to look like a "Chao-Dar" gal walking around! I HATE to be tanned! I wan to be Fair fair White White....like....Hantu!! ahahhahhahahaha....Aiya,influenced by my Mummy lah, coz she say gals muz be fair fair then nice! ahahaha....I noe it does not really make sense lah, but still...Hmm....

My nose pore mask dry liao....go remove now. I'll end my post here. Doubt I'll be blogging tml since I shld be in bed by 8pm??...siaoz!! NO WAY Manz! But then, dun tink I hab the mood, time and energy to blog oso lor. Anyway, will keep u guys updated again...prolly on the funny ppl at the Road Show! ahaha...Hope I dun get to meet a lot of such ppl there lah, else can die ah!

Happy 30th Anniversary to Papa & Mummy!

Today's the 30th Anniversary of Papa & Mummy!...Yes, they've definately come a loooong way! Had a mini celebration today. Papa noe tat Mummy loves the Durian cake from GoodWood Park, so he got Korkor to order the cake again. And me...I got a Rose for Mummy on behalf of my Papa! ahhaa...nah....coz my papa is not the lomantic sorta person lor. Took a foto of them, but I'm not gona post it up...it's priavte lah. Actually they din wan to take wan, but I reminded them tat if they dun take now, the next 30th Anniversary will be when they're 80 yrs old liao! By tat time, all so old, frail and haggard looking...which is worst rite?...ahahah....Ya! I noe I very mean lah, so they bo bianz lor...! ahahah...Yes! They've got an Evil and Crappy daughter! *evils grin* heh heh...

Oh yes! Hope u guys can see the Coffee Gum thingy! Soli lah, coz forget to on the flash, so when I took the foto, it became really dark. Tried my best to adjust liao...tat's the best I can do. Ok, it's actually a Chewing Gum...but Kopi Flavour! My colleague gave it to me wan. First time I ever see Kopi Chewing Gum in my entire life! ahaha...ya lah ya lah...May Leen is "sua-ku" can or not!...But the gum smells really nice ok! Really got the Kopi aroma!...Can't bear to eat it, coz tis is the 1 and only Kopi gum tat I've got...so dun ask mi how it taste like. But according to the colleague who gave it to me, it taste like kopi oso lor. Mmm...see if I can "kop" more kopi gums from him or not! ahahaha

Had meeting today. It's more like a chit-chat session rather than a meeting. Well, prolly tats the prob when there're so mani gals in 1 room and oni 2 guys around. Ended up having lotsa gals tok with the 2 guys around. Oh well, tink they dun mind oso lah, coz they oso say they used to it liao! ahahaha....

Yeah!! 2 more days to weekend! Planning to go Shop shop again!...Seems like I hab endless things to shop and buy! I oso duno why!!...*rolls eyes*

Brain Damage

Everyday use up a lot of my brain cells manz. Now I'm really running outta ideas, coz I need to tink of a Themed title for a particular promotion. Arrrgg!!... Tink muz ask Mummy to brew some tonic soup for my brains! Ahh!! Tink Zhu-Nao (Pig's Brain) is really good for Human's brain leh. Anyway, pigs are not stupid wat...they are the smartest creatures on earth, juz tat they are lazy. Lazy NOT = Stupid! Soo...in conclusion, can drink Pig's Brain Soup to replenish my damaged brain cells! ahahah

Had a pretty fun day at work today. Coz we gona do a new 'facelift' for a particular product. Designs are out oredi. However, 1 of the Directors somehow rejected it lor, though my Manager & I find that the designs are okay. So we decided to hab a voting system. i.e. To place the old design and new design side by side, then get all the people in our level to cast votes! It's really interesting to see them casting the votes and giving feedbacks or compliments etc. Tink most of the people in our level has voted. Anyway, I'll juz leave those product designs there for 1 more day before tabulating the results.

Juz realised today tat 1 of our Designers gota iPod Shuffle. And her feedback was that it's not really User-Friendly! Ok...so I reckoned tat it is definately NOT suitable for an IT idiot like me! Am waiting for Uncle Mat to get back to me before deciding if I should get 1 after all. I'm really bad in such stuffs!

Blue Blue Monday

Was nearly late for work all becoz of the stupid rain = stupid jam! Me oredi left hm 10 mins earlier than usual liao. Normally I'll leave my hse at around 8.20am, and reach office by 8.50am. Today leh, me left around 8.10am, end up reach office at 8.58am! Damn heng leh...2 more mins oni then I'll be condemned as a late comer. Tink my Company quite particular about punctuality wan. Haiz...wat a start to a Monday morning.

Had food sampling today again! Not bad, quite tasty. Cannot reveal wat I sampled lah, due to the nature of my job. Anyway, this product shld be launching soon! Hee...Mmm...had a long meeting today with my Manager and Assistant Manager. Got sooo mani things to discuss and follow up lor. Haiz...tat means more work to do tml! Arrrrg!!...

Bu Zhi Bu Jue me oredi worked for 1 month liao. That's wat my Manager thought so too today. Sooo Fast manz! Really so Scary, when I tink of how time seems to fly so quickly. Haiz...getting older each day. Tat reminds me of my Seconday School Buddy who's getting married on the 28th this month. Unfortunately, I cannot attend coz I've got a road show again! Yeaps...it's the Singapore Food Expo, starting on the 26th till 30th. And I'm still under probation oso, cannot take leave lah, so no choice, gota gib it a miss...but of coz my ang-pow and wishes cannot miss lah. Will try to meet up with her sometime next week... Congratulations to my Dear Fren, Zanli! Hope u and WeeWee happily ever after!!

Guess Unlce Mat will hab to be my Nanny for the rest of my life! ahahaha....Been bugging him these few days! And I called him juz now to bug him again. Coz me feel like buying MP3 player leh. Went Funan recently then see liao quite gien. Mi actually aiming the Creative one. Dun ask me wat model. I dun even noe wat Model, until Unlce Mat told me it's MuVo. Oh well...watever! Then he recommended me the Apple iPod Shuffle. But prob is, I need something tat can oso play in WMA format. Dun ask me convert to MP3. I duno how to do that!!!....and I'm an IT idiot. I Repeat...I'M AN IT IDIOT!! So I oso duno wat the hell he toking. Ended up, me gave him the task of helping me go find out! ahahhaah...basically, I really need something Idiot proof...simple functions can liao. Most importantly no need convert here and there. Juz plug in, download then can listen. Shld be quite easy to find mah....Hmm....

Seems to get tired easily nowadays. Oso duno why...maybe it's a sign of ageing!...It's time to get some sleep....*yawnz*

SuNnY sUnNy SuNdAy!!

It was a fun-filled Sunday today. Spent nearly my whole day in the new Safra at Mt. Faber! Guess it's gona be my new hangout. In case u guys are wondering, the new Safra is located in Telok Blangah...and NOT in Mt. Faber itself. Yes, the name is kinda misleading lor.

The new Safra is really nice. I love the envrionement. I personally feel that it's better than Chevron leh. Anyway, mi reached there around 10am. Went for bowling first. Spent nearly 3hrs there. Played a total of 7 games. Being oni an amateur, so my scores are really lousy lor. Tink even the kids there played better than me! Kaoz! *ashamed*...Anyway, I recorded my scores:-

Anyway, if my Poly Buddy, Mr. Pow is reading this, he sure suan me wan, coz he's a Professional Bowler...used to play for TP. Dun pray pray wor!...Mmm...Whole body now aching, but really had fun...long long time no play bowling liao, and bowling is ADDICTIVE!! Tink will go again and throw $$ in long-kang! hee...

After bowling, went downstairs for POOL! Yeah! It has been ages since I last played the Real game! Used to skip lectures while in SIM and go play in our Student Lounge with Miss Clara, Uncle Mike and Uncle Mat. After that, I started playing the online pool game...but stopped after a while. Well, I'm glad tat I din really lost much of my 'skills' despite not playing in a long long time. Agar-agar still can rememeber wat my Shi-fu, Uncle Mathew taught me. Unfortunately, I still lost ALL the games! Haiz...so xia-suay!

Proceed on to the Jackpot room after the game of POOL. Change 30bucks and lost it within less than 15mins! IT'S NOT FUN AT ALL!! Stupid Machine! Last time mi played in Genting & in Aussie, still can win quite a lot leh. Then their 20cents machine all taken up, so no choice, left to play with the 50cents wan. Coz $1 is too much a bet for me lah. Learnt my lesson liao...not gona play Jackpot in Singapore!! *humph*

Left Safra around 4pm+. Went to Penisula Plaza to find my sneakers! Well, could not find the 1 I like in Queensway, so settled for something else, which I tink is nice. Managed to bargain a bit, so paid $89 for it. Oso Adidas wan lor. Somehow juz like their brand & stuffs. Tink they shld ask me be their spokesperson hor! ahahaha...Then after that continue went shop shop in Raffles City. Bought a top from M)phosis. Oh! Tat reminds me! Yesterday me went Orchard shop shop and bght 2 tops and 1 skirt! All for work. No choice leh. Tink my pay all go into Food & Shopping liao. Oh! And not forgetting the Long-Kang fund! ahhahaah

Oh well, anyway...tat was how I spent my Sunday today. Guess next week I won't be tat Happy coz I need to report for work at 5.30am!! Yeaps...coz of The New Paper Big Walk. U'll be seeing May Leen there gibing out Kopi!....haiz...gona be Kopi-Soh next week. Sad...there goes my Sunday!...Maybe I shld juz go play midnight bowling and then report straight to the Stadium! Well, see how it goes lor...*sianz* ...5.30am leh...how to wake up??!!...*rolls eyes*

Time to sleep. Manager back tml liao. Stress level up to 95% oredi. Feeling Blueess oredi. Nah...shall get a good sleep for now and prepare for 'war' tml! Nitez to all!

Friday the 13th!

It's supposed to be an "Orr-Orr" (black) Friday today. Glad that nothing really screwed up. *Phew*...Heng ah! And was Sooo Happy tat my Manager din come back to the office today though she called up lah. But Monday will see her liao lor...can oredi feel the Monday Blues now! Arrrgg!...

Another busy day. A lot of damaging done to my brain cells. So I guess my brains is now functioning 50% slower than normal days. All thanks to the new product of our Company. Need to come up with new names which is Sooo damn difficult!

So fuuny! This morning I actually picked up a call by this headhunter company. Well, she was like so enthusiastic at first, but I din wan to waste her time. So I quickly stop her from going further by saying this: "Think u've got the wrong person. I'm actually a fresh grad and I only started this job for around 1 month!"...ahahhaa...Tink she really stunned and disappointed when she heard this! But she quite a nice lady lah, so we ended up chatting quite a bit lor. And I oso smart lor. Since she oredi call up liao, might as well intro her our promotion thingy to her! ahahahhahaaha...anyway email oso no need $$ wan. So got her email add and sent her the promo advert! Smart eh!! *ahem*

As time goes by, get to see more strange ppl in my Company. But majority of the people are still nice. Only got 1 or 2 which I'm quite disgusted by their behaviour. *shakes head*...and yes! No matter do wat, muz be very careful, else kana stabbed oso duno why! As it is, I'm sometimes being used as a scapegoat. Well, muz physco myself to get used to it eh. Haiz...Hmm...maybe I tink too much oso. But it's alwaiz good to be wearing bullet/arrow vest when at work. *rolls eyes*...

Tink I really need to shop so tat I won't tink so much. Gota get some rest for shopping tml! Anyway, I noe my brains cells are dying soon, need to let them get some rest as well! Nitez...

My Birthday Celebration Part I

Sorry for the overdue post. Unfortunately, May Leen is now 24 years old. That means her memory is failing her and she'll need some time to recap the details on Friday and to organize her thoughts before she can blog! Anyway, it's gona be a long entry, thus I've decided to break into different parts, so that it'll be easier for my brains to organize the details properly as well! Ahaha...Ok, serious now...Mmm...tink I shall begin on the morning of 06 May 2005.

Me went to office as usual. Everything seemed normal. Around 9+am, I was at Eric's desk, discussing some stuffs with him and Geraldine. Then, I saw a "ghostly" image that 'flew' past! Ahaha...it was actually Candice sneaking towards my desk. I suspected something fishy was going on, but I've go no idea what was it. It was only when I got back to my desk, I had a pleasant surprise! They actually bought me a beautiful Birthday Cake, lighted with candles. But tink I "tu" too long before going back to my desk, thus the candles all melt liao. Then they all started laughing, singing and wishing me a Happy Birthday. I was really touched leh *sobz sobz*

As this celebration is supposed to be a "hush hush" affair, we kept it really low profile. That's why as seen from the fotos, we were squatting down throughout! Ahaha...nah, coz we din wan to let too many people know about it also lah. But it was fun, coz it was really a comical sight, seeing us behaving so sneakily!

The cake is really delicious leh. It's fruits wan. And the Mango is really fresh! *drool* Dun see the cake small small, it can feed the mouths of 8 hungry gals ok! Ahaha

Work went on as normal after the mini celebration. After lunch, me went over to chat chat with Candice and Geraldine. Went back to my desk. Had another pleasant surprise! They had placed a cute Birthday Card on my keyboard! *Truly touched* Then they started giggling and laughing again. Oh well, apparently they had oredi placed the card on my table, but duno wat happen to my eyes, I neber see it at all! So I guess Joyce actually went over my desk and place the Card in a more visible and prominent position to let this old lady have a better view! Ahaha

Really wana Thank my 4 Lovely colleagues...Candice, Geraldine, Joyce and Keri for making my Birthday a memorable one. *hugz*...Xie Xie; Gam Sia, Arigatous! Really appreciate that, my dear gals!

My Birthday Celebration Part II

It's back to work again after the 2nd round of surprise. All went well until in the afternoon, the stupid idiot staff from this particular cake shop nearly screwed up my Birthday. Infact, that idiot did screw up my day. Anyway, I've lodged a complaint against her today, but seems that nothing has been done. They just told me that they had oredi reprimanded her lor, but god knows if they did so. In case u're wondering, this cake shop is quite well-known. Definitely NOT Angie The Choice, Bread Talk or Bengawan. Go figure it ou...they've got lotsa franchise stores around. Let's juz name this shop as "PI" Ok, here goes the story.

I had ordered the cake from PI on Thursday. Everything was ok and they told me the delivery time is between 4-8pm. I had the cake delivered to Boy's cafe. Due to some unforeseen circumstances, Boy told me that they had changed their operating hours from 5-8pm, which means that if the cake heng-heng delivered at 4pm, the cafe is closed, so he asked me to change the time of delivery from 5-8pm instead. In short, simply avoid 4-5pm. So immediately the next day at around 10am, I called PI and requested them to change or rather, avoid the timing between 4-5pm. However, this gal, called C told me that the orders has been sent out so there's nothing she could do. But hey, I'm giving ample time allowance to make the necessary arrangement leh. Anyway, I understand that in any event of non-delivery, they will send the cake to the nearest outlet, which in their case, they insisted was Upper Boon Keng's outlet. So I requested her to change to Suntec instead since I'll be in town area and from Suntec to Boy's cafe is definitely much nearer. She noted down the details and my particulars and told me that she will get back to me. Fine. I presumed she is trying her best to make the necessary arrangements and then to confirm with me again.

I was really busy on Friday as my Manager will be outstationed. The gal did not get back to me, so I thought everything is fine, arrangement has been made. I was Wrong!! I received a call from the driver of PI and he told me that he's reaching the cafe, but he's not very sure of the exact location. I was shocked! I was pretty angry at this point of time, but I assured him that I wasn't angry with him, I'm angry with that stupid gal. Guess wat? The stupid gal actually did not inform the guy of the changes. The delivery guy keep saying he duno anything. Well, so I asked him to call the gal and ask her to call me. Around 5 mins lata, she called and I fired her! When I asked her why she did not get back to me, she could not give me a satisfactory answer. She was like stammering, mumbling etc. to herself. Oh well, I duno izzit becoz she's scared off by me or wat. Anyway, the fact that she failed to get back to me proves only 1 thing, Irresponsible!! No matter wat, you have to get back to the customer to let the customer know the outcome; Can or Cannot. Is it that difficult?

Never mind about that. Then she said she will try to contact the delivery man and see what can be done, and again, she said she will get back to me. Again, she failed to do so. As it was nearly 5.15pm, I became kan cheong myself coz I duno where the hell my cake is being delivered to liao. So I called PI. To my HORROR, this is what I hear from the answering machine: "Thank you for calling PI. Our office is now closed. We are open from XX hrs to 5pm!" *faints*...At this point of time, I was fuming mad ok! Super super Pissed off! This gal is f**king IRRESPONSIBLE! I was at a lost coz now that it's after office hrs, who the hell can I contact. Whether my cake is in Suntec or in Upper Boon Keng, I've totally got No Idea! Then I think for a while. I managed to retrieve the mobile no. of the delivery guy. I quickly call him. I know I was practically toking at the top of my voice to him liao. I know it's not his fault lah, but too bad for him that he's got such a colleague. Anyway, I assured him that I'm not gona complain about him lah. After all, his job is to deliver only. End up, the cake still in Upper Boon Keng! *Super Pissed off*

Me immediately called Boy to complain, grumble and even throwing tantrums at him over a cake! And I noe he finds it really strange! Why am I getting upset over a CAKE??? Yes, I know I've over reacted and kinda childish to behave in such as manner, BUT it's MY BIRTHDAY! I've made the effort, search online to find that cutsy rooster cake and I expect things to turn out smoothly especially it's My Day! Boy told me that he'll help me settle it and go collect the cake for me in Upper Boon Keng. I'm really touched ok. Coz I know that he's tired, yet he don't want me to feel upset and miserable, coz of tat Cake!

Ok, here comes the ultimate part. Boy had alwaiz thought I had ordered my cake from Angie the Choice. Yes, I did tell him I wanted to order from there but then, their minimum size is 2kg, which is too big, so I’ve got no choice but to order from PI. And I did tell him that!! Sometimes guys can be So super inattentive wan leh! And it's not the first time liao. Whenever I tell him something, his left ear in, right ear out! Next time muz stuff earplugs in his right ear! Anyway, I presumed that he called up the wrong cake shop, tink he scolded them or something, then went to Upper Boon Keng to collect the cake, but cannot find Angie the Choice, coz the cake is from PI! *faints*...You may wonder how I know abt it. Oh well, Angie the Choice called me and asked if I've received my Cake! That's when I sensed something muz be wrong. Really "Bai Wu Long". I duno wat happened after that, coz I was on my way down to Jumbo. Me forget to bring my voucher so had to rush back home to get it before rushing down to Jumbo. Boy, Uncle Mat and Clara were already there when I arrived. Boy was busy on the fone with the gal from PI, the franchise store in Upper Boon Keng. Boy lata passed the fone to me to "continue" from there. Guess wat?....The gal was really nice to actually offer and deliver the cake all the way to Jumbo! Now, this is wat I call EXCELLENT Customer Service. Really glad tat my Birthday wasn't screwed up all becoz of this cake. Was able to enjoy my seafood dinner happily after that! Hee...

1. Crabs - 1kg Black Pepper, 1kg Chili! I still love the Black Pepper!
2. Cereal Prawns -€“ The prawns so fat and juicy and the cereals so delicious
3. Kang Kong -“ My all time favourite vege!
4. BBQ Fish - Super delicious. Very fresh and the meat so juicy
5. Yam Scallop -“ "Must-Order" item. Very Very Delicious
6. Garlic Chicken - Meat tender and the garlic taste too strong. Nice!
7. Sotong -€“ This is a very unique dish. Something like Vietnamese dish. Delicious!
8. Had steam rice + Fried Buns. Double Carbo intake for that night. Sinful! hee

And the total cost for the seafood feast?...Make a guess...Alright. It's $180.50. But with my discount card, that's a grand total of only $154.96!! Soooo Cheap, considering we ordered so much stuffs! Glad tat my buddies all enjoyed the food there. Hmm...maybe can jio my Poly buddies go eat there! Ahahaha...tink I can be Jumbo Queen liao.

Went to Boy'™s cafe to cut cake after that delicious dinner. Tink all of them got a shocked when they saw my cake. And then all suan me saying: "You think you still a kid ah?"...See! told u all I still young at heart. I Love Kid'€™s stuff...cannot meh! *humph*

Anyway, I really had a great time that night. Thank You my Dear Friends and my Boy. I'€™m still feeling guilty, making him run here and there all because of my Cake. No doubt he always neglects me, overall leh, he dotes on me lah. So cannot hiam liao lor! *rolls eyes*

Nice Weather Today...Zzzz

How I wish I could keng MC and not go work today...Yes...I noe that's all wishful tinking on my part. Overslept today, coz it seems that my body is glued to my bed lah. Ya, I noe that's a VERY lame excuse...I'll try harder next time! ahaha...Heng ah... I wasn't late for work. Nothing much "happening" things at work today. Juz a normal busy day. Anyway, taut I could hab 1 more day of 'freedom' at work...Unfortunately, got "Insider Info" tat my Manager coming back tml! Haiz...Stress level Up and rising again!

Called up and Scolded One of my Sec School fren juz now. He lah!! Anyhow go gib my hp no. to some stupid Prudential guy. Apparently that Prudential guy is his fren lor. But hey, I dun tink tat's a very ethical thing to do. Then he called me juz now ask me duno put my savings there or something then can grow $$! Kaoz! If really can grow $$, the whole world no need to work oredi...might as well sit there, and wait for money to grow! So his fren let me suan and attack until jia-jia lat...then my fren oso kana scolding from me oso until jia jia lat!...Hmm...tink I shld consider changing my hp mobile liao.

It's finally Friday...but Manager come back liao...not feeling as excited oredi. :(
...And hope that I'll not be lazy to attend my Aerobics Class tml...been missing class from nearly 3 weeks...waistline getting thicker, thighs and arms more flabby...tummy bulging out! *GOSH*...Please Kill Me!

Quick Quick Updates!

Yaya...I noe I still owe u guys the blog on my Birthday Celebration. I'm working on it ok, promise will be up soon. Juz a quick update on wat I've been doing lately.

Last Friday-Saturday: My Birthday Celebration!! Busy eating, eating and more eating! And I noe I'm growing fatter as the day goes by! *guilty*...Then got my Roadshow at Toa Payoh HDB Hub on Saturday. Heng it wasn't that warm coz I brght my mini Peko fan. Unfortunately, it's broken liao, coz of Bryan and Eric lah! Duno how they use until spoil. I oni went for lunch 1 hr, come back and then it's spoilt! *faints* But they are very nice lah...they felt guilty so they actually went to buy 1 and replace me. But then, it's not Peko wan lor...coz my peko wan oredi cannot find liao. Haiz...oh well, at least they made the effort. And it was Sooo funny! All the salesmen are helping me to fix/repair my peko fan. Ok, it's 4 of them meddling with my small little peko fan! ahahaha...Comical sight!...Mmm... Lucky din meet with a lot of Irritating aunties. All quite ok lor. So nothing to complain oso. Hee...Then Miss Clara and her sis come meet me for lunch. *So touched*...Mummy oso poped by to find me after the shopping trip in Orchard, then Papa come picked us up together lor. Haiz...It was a tiring Saturday again.

Sunday: Shopping! Went Queensway shop shop. Bought a Polo Ralph Sunglass. Actually was aiming the Gucci wan...wanted to buy liao until I saw an IMITATION by some kinda Japanese brand. The design is Sooooo Super similiar ok! U wouldn't know that's an imitation unless u look at it closely. So I decided that it's not worth paying so much when you can get a fake version which looks so much like the real version! Then, I saw this Adidas sneakers which I liked it Sooo much. But no size 61/2 liao. I checked out all the stores in Queensway but dun hab oso. *sob sob*...guess it's fated. AHHHHH!! I wonder if Penisula Plaza will hab, but tink the price shld be more ex. than Queensway hor?...U guys got any idea?

Monday & Tuesday: Work lor. Wat else!!...Sianz...Anyway, Manager not around...can slack a bit lah, but not too much coz there's alwaiz a spy out there. Better watch my back! ahahaha...

Today (Wednesday): Feel really very very restless. My energy level is juz not there. Did some tidying up of my desk, which is flooded with rubbish, papers etc. Other than that, did some follow up work, reply emails...and sometimes stoning away, coz got pretty bad cramps today. Ya... Maybe that explains for my low energy level. Din wan to take medication coz I dun wan to be dependent on it. I usually solve my monthly cramps problem using aromatheraphy. Sway-sway the essential oil finish liao...so din get enough "dosage" for this month. ahahaha...Sometimes I wonder why humans...no no...is gals hor....muz be made in such a way that we muz suffer once a month. It's terrible ok. So guys ah....U all muz be more understanding whenever it's that time of the month ok! ahahaha...Anyway, lucky no one step on my tail today, else the person sure jiajia-lat!

Somehow I feel that whenever my Manager outstation hor, the days and weeks seemed to pass so quickly wan! Then when she's around, time seemed to be crawling! Oops! hee...

Oh yes! I received my Jumbo seafood VIP card juz now when I got home! Not bad leh...got gib me discount coupons for other places as well. AHhaaha...juz remebered Anonymous asked me why I alwaiz eat there. Ok, for those who've neber been there to eat, I HIGHLY-STRONGLY recommend u guys to go there. But muz go to the one at Riverwalk. Coz my family & I oni trust the cooking there. I'm not too sure abt other outlets lah. Anyway, here are some reasons why u muz eat there:-

1. Excellent cooking- The Crabs, Prawns, Kang-Kong, BBQ fish, Yam Scallop....*Oishii*
2. Nice Ambience- Juz beside the Singapore River...Lomantic manz
3. Good Service- Enough waiter/waitress around to help u change your plates w/o having to open your mouth and ask
4. Economical - Yes! In case u're wondering...It is NOT expensive to eat there.

A lota pple thought that it's expensive to eat there. Even when I told my friends I treating them to Jumbo on my Birthday, they actually din wan, coz they say that it's ex., and they din wan me to treat them something so ex. But I assured them it's not. Coz I've been eating there for the past duno how mani weekends. Oh well, anyway, I hope that answers Anonymous question! ahahhaa...Hmm...tink Papa gona eat there tml...*rolls eye*...I wan their black pepper crab!! *drool*

Can't wait for weekend to come, coz it's payday again! ahaha...Now I "appreciate" being paid twice a month! But that oso means more damage being done to my pocket! Ok...2 more days to go...Endure!! ahahaha

Another Bloody B**CH

Encounter 2 bloody bitches less than 1 month in the cruel working world. Why is this happening manz. Haiz...yes...had a bad experience with another bitch again yesterday.

Tink I mentioned in my earlier post that I hab to do some telemarketing for our promotion. Anyway, I called up XXX Ltd. Yes...the famous water treatment system in Singapore. Big organisation and quite high profile oso. Ok, back to the bitch. She's the receptionist who picked up the call. At first she was normal. I introduced myself, telling her I'm calling from which company etc. and the purpose of my call. So I requested to speak to someone from the HR department...blar blar blar. She put me on hold to the department. I waited for a very long time, nearly 5 mins and there was no background/on-hold music. I actually thought that my line has been cut off, but then I did not hear the engaged tone, so I waited patiently. Later on, tis bitch picked up the fone again and told me that the person is not around and she decided to give me the direct line extention of the person instead. At this point of time, she was pretty impatient oredi. I took down the number, and before I could ask further, she hang up on me. And on both occasions when she wanted to hold my line or end my call, she juz end it abruptly. I mean ppl who have the courtesy/manners will AT LEAST say something like "Tks, Bye". Of coz I dun expect her to say something like "Thank you for calling. Have a nice day. Goodbye." But hey, I did call up a few organisations who hab excellent receptionist and great customer service ok!

Anyway, apparently my call wasn't ended. Tink the fone works in such a way that if u do not really hang it and u switch the line, the line will not be cut-off. Surprisingly, after a while, the bitch picked up the call again! So I told her my line was cut-off and that she hang up on me before I could hab the chance to speak futher. Oh yes, tink I forget to mention what I wana ask her hor. I actually wana find out the name of the person whom I can speak to. I mean it'll be much easier right. It does not make sense if I can bother to find out the no. yet do not know the name of the person. Anyway, it won't kill her by telling me the name of the contact person. She was practically shouting at me liao when my voice was like less than 10 decibles! *faints*....I was totally pissed at this point of time, but I "REN", coz I dun wan to spoil the image of my company. Besides, no point wasting my brain cells and energy on such low intellectual ppl. So tis is wat I replied her: " I noe u gave me the number, but I've yet to finish my sentence, u juz hang up on me. I juz wan to find out the name out the name of the person for the extension no. that u juz gave me." Guess wat was her ultimate reaction? ...This is the bitch's reply (in a super agitated + irritated tone): " HELLO! I'M VERY BUSY AND I HAB OTHER CALLS TO PICK UP."....Wah!! I'm truely amazed by her reply manz! *claps claps applause applasue*...Well done Bitch! That's wat I call "EXCELLENT" CUSTOMER SERVICE! Will someone please gib her an award for the "MOST COURTEOUS" RECEPTIONIST??....PlS...I TINK SHE REALLY DESERVES ONE.....TIGHT SLAP! Ok, I decided that I'm oso very busy and am not gona "fight" with her in the fone. As I've mentioned, I dun wan to spoil the image of my Company. Anyway, I ended the call by saying this: " I dun tink U're fit to be a receptionist."....then I hang up the call. No point scolding her vulgarities, much as I would LOVE to do that. But of coz cannot lah. After I kana sued and charge in court ah...then not worth it liao!

Anyway, most ppl say Better NOT offend gals and this is very true. Coz I decided to kill 2 birds with one stone. Btw, the bitch did gib me the name of the nice lady for the ext. So I decided to call her, to promote our products and at the same time, complain to her abt the receptionist. But I did use my brains to tink first before taking action coz I feel that I'm oso doing this XXX Organisation a favour by giving them feedback on how "well" their receptionist is performing. I actually told the nice lady that it's lucky that now the person whom she encounter is me...prolly juz business partner, but wat if it's a customer etc. I guess it'll definately reflect Very badly on the company. The nice lady did thank me for the feedback lah, but I duno whether she will bring it up to the relevant ppl or not. Btw, there's oni 1 receptionist in the organisation. So in any event u guys wan to call up this particular organisation for watever reasons, Pls Be Prepared! Dun say I neber warn u guys hor!

I know this cake definately looks damn appetitizing with the rich chocolate and the 3 eye-catching Big, Fat & Juicy Strawberries!! *Drool*...I was Sooo tempted and kan-cheong to eat the cake that I even forgo the Birthday Song and the taking a picture of me cutting the Cake!! ahahah...Yeah! Tats how greedy May Leen is!...Credit goes to my KorKor who went Marriot Hotel to order the cake. Sooo funny! Tink he went with Alice...and she asked my KorKor to keep a slice of cake for her, coz the cake looks damn good lor! And it tastes GREAT!! Very Rich Chocolate...and with the slight sourness of the strawberry, it just taste heavenly!! *Drool*

Celebrated with my family 1 day in advance coz they reckoned tat I'll be gg out, though initially, I had reserved Friday for my family. Wednesday Blueeeesss

Just as I taut today would be another smooth sailing day...I wasn't that heng today. It’s a really long story and I also do not wish to relate the incident in my blog. I juz hope my that colleague can also understand the difficulties I'm facing, coz I noe how she feels. But I guess it's more of a misunderstanding, and prolly I'm too sensitive and think too much. Mmm...but I guess I have not really adapted to the harsh working society yet...and I know there's definately much more room to learn and 'kana' from people before I can fit into the society! Haiz...I guess that's life

Well, not everything is bad after all. Met a really nice gal from a particular communications company, in charge of an event. Her name is Judy. She is such a nice, sweet, friendly and chatty lady and I really enjoyed toking to her. Initially, we had a more formal meeting until later on, we somehow got out of point and started toking about other stuffs instead of the project! aahahh...Learned a lot of things from her...very interesting lady.

Our R&D department organised a BBQ tml, which was a super last minute gathering. Anyway, I was invited. Much as I would love to go, I oredi got an appointment with my family liao. It's reserved solely for them. But then leh, I tink tink tink, like quite bad to turn down oso, so prolly will rush down after my family dinner. Anyway, it's very near my house oso, so still ok lah.

Just found out today that Joleen, my colleague...her birthday falls on the same day as mine!! SOOOOO Coincidence manz!! And we're of the same age as well!! Hmm...could she be my long lost twin sister?...ahahha...

Life in the office seems to be more hectic each day. Time passes fast, but Stress level is increasing as well. But I'm still trying to keep up with my energy level, and maintainig the positive attitude. Juz wondering how long I can last....*rolls eye*...But no matter wat, I'm gona "REN"!!!

I'm feeling depressed now, coz my maid broke my stuff. Ok, it's my Winnie the Pooh Cutlery set's casing. I duno how on earth she can break it, but she did it anyway. I bght for less than 1 mth leh! I so heartpain now...dun bother to scold her oso...wat's there to scold...oredi broken liao. Haiz...so guess gota make do with rubber band lor. Kek-Sim!!

Not really in the mood to blog today. Prolly coz of the incident juz now, plus I'm tired...most importantly, my Winnie the Pooh broken! I take very good care of my things wan, so if missing 1 hand or 1 leg, I'll feel really depress...like now... *Sob*

I'm Such A Glutton!!

OMG!! My fats are all buldging out ok! Feeling Soooo Guilty now. I had a feast on 2 consecutive days! (i.e. Sat & Sun) And I had Crabs for both days as well, juz tat Sat is Chilli Crab, Sun (yest) was Black Pepper Crab!...Actually, I dun really eat crab until 1 fine day, Papa brght me to tis place and eat their Hairy Cold Crab. I was hooked on ever since. And now, I LOVE Pepper Crab. It's Sooo Delicious! *drool*

Yes...I was saying tat yest's dinner at Jumbo, courtesy of Papa & Myself! ahaha...So Mummy & Korkor keep ordering lor! They so gien peng hor! aahahha...No lah, since we say it's a treat, so cannot be neow oso lor. Anyway, we ordered Beking Duck, Black Pepper Crab, Yam, Fish, Cereal Prawn, Sotong, Fried Buns, Mango Pudding! Wah lau! So sinful hor! And I still ate 3/4 bowl of rice! Even More Sinful! Input so much carbo yest! *Guilty*...Haiz...and Papa was asking me juz now if I wana eat at Chef Chan tonite! Kaoz!!...Cannot! I muz Control my diet liao. Else ppl next time cannot recognise me leh!

That day my fren, the stupid Mada Kia on my tag-board was saying abt me: "So Pig! Alwaiz tok abt Food! Either yr fotos hab been renamed with Food in it, or yr MSN settings alwaiz put Food!"...Hee... Then we he tok to me, I oso tok abt Food! But he so evil leh, say me until like tat!...OK, at least he was nice yesterday, coz he tip me off telling mi got Road Block, so ask me to watch-out! ahaha...But his sms came a little bit late lah. I was oredi on my way hm and those men in Blue oredi set up the Road Block liao. Anyway, I've alwaiz been a law abidding citizen *ahem*, of coz they neber catch me lah! ahhaa

Went Suntec yest to choose my picture. Yeaps, compliments of our Company lah, during the D&D tat time. It's from 'Picture Me'. Tink they help u edit until nice nice lor. But yest go see liao, not very fantastic leh. And they oni gib 1 FREE one. Any additional pix will have to pay $12!! So ex leh. It's juz not worth it! Tink the shots I took from my Digicam even nicer leh! So I juz 'claim' tat Free Shot, which I tink, is not very nice oso. But well, since it's Free, Why not? ahaha...aiyo! Aunite pattern again! Arrrggg!!

Btw, Anonymous No. 1, I do exercise leh...but not at the Gym. Guess u prolly juz started reading my blog. Coz in my past entries, I did mention tat I've been in Aerobics class for a few years oredi. And I'm still in the same class, with my wonderful instructor, Jenny. Juz tat been a bit lazy these days, so hab been skipping a few lessons. Besides, I will not be motivated if I were to work out alone, thus I need to join a class! ahahah....So, u won't be seeing me in a gym either! Hee...Tks for tat suggestion anyway. Hope tat U've enjoyed yr holidays too! Cheers!

1st Road Show in my Company!

Yesterday was a super Loooong & Tiring Day. Was practically standing from 11am - 6pm. Lucky got chairs lah, so on and off can sit down for a while, can't sit for too long coz it's really strange. The moment my ass touched the chair, ppl start crowding at our booth!! Kaoz!!...So no choice, gota get my ass moving again...and it's back to work. *humph*

This is my first road show with my Company. Was quite fun lah, but a little torturing, coz got NO AIR-CON!!! *pengz*...Ok, it was held at the Toa Payoh HDB Hub...the big open area outside NTUC. If u've been to the HUB, u shld noe wat I'm toking. Anyway, our booth was located juz outside TAKA Jewellery, so it's really Warm ok!! No...I shld say is HOT!! It's so damn freaking HOT HOT HOT!! Was really sweating...and I was really "pek-cek" ok. And it doesn't help when u've got those irritating Aunties asking you STUPID questions!! *faints*

Ok, as usual, u hab those Gien-Peng aunties asking for more freebies. Got 1 so funny...she had alwaiz taut tat our Company is from MALAYSIA!! *faints*...Then got tis Big Group of Aunties I damn pissed off with them. I was explaining to the Group, then tis "ke-kiang" auntie interrupted me and in turn, explain to her frens. Since they were speaking in Dialets (duno is Teochew or Hokkien lah), I duno wat the heck they were toking. So tat particular auntie somehow misled her frens. After tat, her frens oso got confused, then ask me again...and I had to re-explain to them again which is super tedious, considering tat they are hard of hearing and they love to interrupt me when I'm toking 1/2 way!! I simply CANNOT understand why!! Oh well, mayb when I'm Old, prolly I can understand then. Haiz... Then got some really stupid ppl, who ask you: "Is tis really nice??"...Wah lau! The samples are FREE lor! Tell u nice u oso duno...muz Try then u noe wat!! And the free samples are there placed right in their Face liao! Duno wat's their problem!...Basically, yest was all the Aunties tat drove me Nuts lah. And I had to speak their Lingo...machiam like baby toking, else if u speak in 1 sentence structure, they will look at u with their Jaws dropped! If u dun understand, here's an example:

Ok, it's somewhere along the line lah. Coz it really depends on situation. I even got a Malay customer, duno Ang-Moh, so ask me to speak in Melayu! This time, it was my Jaws tat dropped! ahahha....I got 1 of my salesman to help, but he oso duno lah. End up I juz tell her wat I noe, i.e. BAGUS!! ahaha

I oso got some good customers lah. Those easy-going "chin-chai" type lor. They try, they like it, they buy! I like their style manz! ahahaha....and I oso got a customer who *ahem* praise me for being such a good salesperson, as in "good in toking"...coz I managed to bluff and convinced him to buy! ahahaha...

Not forgetting those customers, who try and try and try and NOT Buy!! Or those u explain until mouth oso dry liao, they say they consider, even though they say they like the taste. But well, I can't force them to buy anyway. Haiz...so there're really all kinds of customers out there lah. Ahh!! tat reminds me of a particular customer. I din attend to her lah, it was my colleague who served her, though I did see her...coz can see tat she's a victim of Cancer. She looks really frail and her hair all balding due to the Chemo. And I was right. Bryan told me later on tis customer told him tat she's got Cancer...Brain Tumour. And tat she needs assistant in her housing loan, but she came too late, it's after Office hour oredi, so Bryan told her tat she gota go on Tuesday liao. I feel really sad when I hear tat. Imagine noeing tat u've got a terminal illness and u noe tat u're not gona live for long??...Mmm...I wonder if tat happens to me, how will I handle it. Tough question eh?...Aiyo! why am I sounding so pessimistic manz!...

Anyway, I was the oni gal yesterday at the road show. The rest were all our salesman. Tink all in ard 6 or 7 of them. They are all very funny ppl lah. But being the oni gal, dun assume tat u'll be 'treated' well ok, coz they all keep bullying me!! *BooHoo*...coz they noe I'm an Idiot in Dialets, they keep 'gossiping' abt me in Hokkien, Teochew and Hainanese! And they noe I'm pretty naive as well lah...coz I keep believing in wat they say mah, end up alwaiz fall in their trap!! They all so evil wan leh! "Create happiness at the expense of Me"... Kaoz!

Haiz...next Sat it's the same road show, same location, and with the same group of bullies! ahaha...Anyway, I've gotten myself prepared!! Heh heh...went to find my PEKO portable hand-held battery operated fan!! *Hurray*...I'm gona bring it there to fan-fan myself! ahaha...Oh ya! Prolly those salesman won't bully me after all, coz they sure need to beg me to lend them my Cute little Peko Fan! ahahhahaha...Hmm...prolly can charge them a fee hor...15 mins = $10!! Sounds like a really good deal manz! ahahhaa

Hee...I'm gg eat Jumbo seafood tonight. Supposed to be my treat, but now is a Co-Treat with my Papa. It's a long story. Anyway, good oso lah, tat means I'll spend less! ahahha. Hmm...tat reminds me of the comments left by Anonymous No.1 , who recommeded me to go for SPA! Hey, tks for the recommendation manz. However, being such a practical person, it's juz not May Leen's style to go to a SPA. She would rather be spending the money on More Shopping, More Good Food...and of coz, A nice short trip away from Singapore!! Well, I guess everyone's defination on pampering oneself differs lor. To me, I feel tat it depends on wat are the things u do tat will u happy and relax. For me, I feel tat gg to a SPA is a waste of money, though I had not been to one before. Why? Coz if yr mind is filled with loads of trouble, worries, stress...it won't help anyway. Prolly it will help for tat moment or tat day...but if u do not hab a clear mind, I dun see how it can help to relax one person! Well, correct me if I'm wrong. At least I go shopping, I can use/wear/see/touch etc. and I see the worth. Same goes for food. Though I can't use it, at least it fills up my stomach. And of coz a nice short trip away. I tink tats the best way to relax! Beside relaxation, u get to learn/see new things, culture, people...etc etc. It's really therapeutic!! [See! told u May Leen is a practical person liao!] So...I reckoned ppl won't see May Leen stepping into a SPA, UNLESS...heh heh...Anonymous No. 1 wans to sponsor lor!!! ahahhahahhaha...then wat I've said earlier is all Void! It's a different story altoghter u noe! ahahhaha...Die! I'm juz like one of the Gien-Peng Aunties manz!
