I'm Back! It's a pretty fruitful and eye opening trip though I drained a lot of my brain juice during the 2 days meeting. All these while, the supermarkets we been to are all those high-end kinda supermarkets, equivalent to the Market Place or Cold Storage etc. that we have in Singapore. This time round, our distributors brought us to places, similar to Seng Siong. Yes, "Seng Siong" in Japan!! The buying trend in Japan has changed over the years. They no longer purchase very expensive stuffs. They go to discount stores where they can get the same thing but at a much lower price. And items being expensive does not exactly equate to being good. Probably that was their way of thinking during then. The Japanese of today are also more receptive to goods from foreign countries, judging from the number of imported stuffs from overseas. And it's a pretty good feeling to see our Cafe Nova in Japan's Daiso!! Heehee

We were being brought to the outskirts....basically, out of Tokyo. Maybe it's like....going to JB. Lucky for our distributors who drive, we just have to sit inside the car and enjoy the ride and greenery. Except for the weather, which was like Singapore, coz it's Summer! It would have been perfect if its cooling though.

My damage this time round is still managable coz most of the stuffs bought are not mine!! *pouts*...I can even count the number of stuffs bought for myself:

1. Yukata (i.e. Summer Kimono, in preparation for my sis's wedding next year)
2. Burberry Hand Towel x 2 (Cheap!)
3. A disney Pooh bear with chicken clothings (supposdly to be a limited edition I think)

That's about it. The rest of the items are mostly food stuffs and cutsy stuffs for my sis and buddies. Thanks to the new Jap government, their currency rate is kinda low now...so I managed to save quite a bulk as well. Muahahaha

Just 4 days away and I seemed to have lost touch with the world again! Will someone please tell me what happen to Fann Wong and Christopher Lee!!??....Heard on Yes93.3 that Fann Wong is like avoiding the media or something. I'm not being kaypo okay....I'm just updating myself only! *rolls eyes*

Gota go. Buddies coming over tonight. Small party at home with my Brother's & Sister's friends as well. We shall turn the house upside down since parents are out as well! And gona practice wearing the Yukata later, under the guidance of my teacher - My sister! Pix to upload again when am free! Have a good weekend!

I'm finally back to blog!! Hectic weeks that came and went, and me not remembering exactly what I did. And when I had wanted to blog so much, it's either the internet connection's fault; the Mozilla Firefox's fault; or blogspot's fault! I just can't get into my homepage. Pissed! Anyway, I've like so many things to say....but not knowing where to start....Heehee....okay, let's start with the more bo liao topics.

Taken during my last road show. I think I can be such a crappy person that I seriously wonder how my family and friends can tahan me! *rolls eyes*....Anyway, I know this is such a FUGLY pix...and to think that I can do unbelievable things like this. Image Image!!!

That's for the Fake pair of Shrek's eyes......Now, for my NEW pair of eyes!! *blink blink*

Yeaps...this is kinda long overdued pix.....was taken the 2nd day, after I woke up and being able to see everything CLEARLY!! It's kinda Fugly pix as well, no make-up nothing and my eye lids were swollen from the clampping. Anyway, my eyes are pretty alright now. Still see halos at night but it's getting better each day. Keeping my fingers crossed that it'll totally go off soon. 2 more reviews to go before the doctor can officially "discharge" me.

Random pix of my crappy colleague as well....*birds of the same feather flocks together* Muahaha....Yupz, he's trying to make my Noody doll to *gasp* point its middle finger! Oh! that day one of my buddies was telling me her company does not allow them to place cutsy stuffs on their workstation! OMG!! I think that sounds ridiculous! I think I'll lose all motivation to work if it happens to me!

Patria's Birthday!!!.....

It was an early birthday celebration for one of my ex-colleagues, Patria! Close to full attendence, with 12 pax in total!

Patria, Moi and Sheena!....Haiz...and now, I'm the only survivor in the company. All are like taking turns to leave....Hmm....

We celebrated for her @ Brewerks in Riverside point. Great ambience, good beer, but sucky food.

Nice from far, far from nice. The lamb shank is good though. I'm already making plans to go with my sis & buddies there soon, but currently it seems that all our schdule clashes! Will see how it goes.

Chill out with my buddies on Friday!....We had dinner @ Din Tai Feng, before heading to our favourite hangout - Somerset's Coffee Club to bitch. Oh, there were 2 thorns not included inside the pix! Muahahahaha

Lovely! Friends like them keeps your sanity!

Back to more serious stuffs...that day I was at my crossroads again. Contemplating to move on to a greener pasture at that point in time. Probably it was due to work stress and it doesn't help when people keep bugging you for things. Hopefully I'll get over this phase again, like how it used to be. Work sucks at times! *pouts*

I'll be off to Tokyo again tonight for business. The thought of an 8-hours meeting on Wednesday makes me wana puke! Tuesday will be just as bad. Only tomorrow will make my boss and I happy gals, coz it's Shopping time!! Muahaha....But I promise myself that I shall not exceed my SGD300 (that's exclusing credit card!), IF I can help it!

Updates when I'm back! Byeee...Take Care people!

Marriage Vows

"I _______, take you,________, as my lawful wife (husband), to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do us part."

Well, the above is just a sample of a marriage vow. Sometimes, I wonder when a couple exchange vows like that, do they actually mean it from the bottom of their heart, or it's just purely for that moment in time. Maybe some people just take it for granted after the vow had been exchanged or maybe from the start, it wasn't meant to be.

Read: "For Richer, For Poorer"....I shudder at the thought of it, for some people might marry for the wrong reasons - Money. It is indeed the root of all evil.

Everything seems so bright and clear now that my new eyes definately needs some adjustment to it. Went for my review yesterday and doc was very satisfied with the results. But....strangely, I'm actually feeling some discomfort and pain even till now. Logically speaking, this should not be the case. Neither did my brother nor sister felt any discomfort. Doc did mention that it could be due to my dry eyes, so I'll need to put on more eyedrops for now and hopefully the pain and discomfort will go away when I see him this Friday. And yes, my night vision for now is not exactly perfect as I do experience halos, especially for street lamps and traffic lights. But I reckoned this is for temporary only. Even for my lappy screen, I've to adjust the brightness too....coz everything suddenly seems so....Bright! And my eye check yesterday: 6/6!! Muahaha....Infact, the nurse told me it's even better than 6/6, coz I could even read those ultra small alphabets! *beams*...But I'm definately not gona strain my eyes and will let it have as much rest if I can help it. Enough about my new pair of eyes....!!

Today, sis was asking me to help her choose some of her baby photos and we couldn't help but laugh our heads off at *gasp*...our parent's Ku-Ku Retro dressing during then (ironically our fashion statement of this century)....and our cutsy and chubby selves when we were younger. Back then, life was simpler and I guess we were happy kids!....

Not that we aren't happy kids now....just that as we enter adulthood, we definately have our fair share of stress and problems that we all have to face.

OMFG!! Sometimes I wonder what our parents feed us during then to make us uberly Chubby! Gross!

And Look! My weakness for doll starts at a young age!! Muahaha....I've ALWAYS love dolls! Even those with blinking eyes and all, it doesn't tramautise me at all and I still have 1 of them, which was my Birthday pressie from my parents when I was in Primary 3!

One of my freaking friends actually called me up to DOUBLE confirm that was ME in the picture, which i have also uploaded in my friendster! Muahaha....Very different meh??!!!....Just chubbier and cuter only what!

Anyway, it's time to rest my eyes. Maybe I'll dig out all those primary, secondary, poly fotos if I have the time and blog about it. You guys might be in for another shock again then! *rolls eyes*....Nitez for now!

Perfecto

How cool it is when I juz had my left and right lasik done less than 24hrs apart and now, I CAN SEE WITHOUT THE AID OF GLASSESS!!! Woooohoooo! Ok, though I'm still suffereing from misty vision and slight pain (hello....your cornea is being cut up lor), generally I'm still quite ok. Tried watching teebee juz now and *gasp*....I CAN SEE CLEARYLY!! Then, I was exclaiming to my sis: "Hey, I can watch the teebee with no glassess leh!"....Muahaha....she was like "Ya lah Ya lah". After all, she is the pioneer in the family who did lasik, and that's when I found this doctor. Hmm...other than the misty vision and pain + uncomfortable, my eyelids are also swollen. This could be due to the clampping where they need to open up your eyes. Everything was done within 10mins. It was the waiting part for your turn that gives you the creeps and makes you really nervous. Fortunately, I was given an anti-anxiety pill to relax before the ops, so that made it better. Lucky for yesterday, Sis also came to visit me as I think the post surgery was a disaster such that I felt like fainting! Could be the med, could be....I also duno what. And opening my eyes was a torture. It's painful and I kept on tearing. Infact, I teared immediately after the Ops. The same for my right eyes as well. Haha...maybe I've got more tear glands! Muahahah...Shall stop this entry for now, as I do not want to strain my eyes. Will update again once I recover. Doctor will be reviewing my right eye tomorrow....hopefully everything is like my left eye - Perfect!

Feeling the Jitters

Feeling kan cheong now....so much so that I was already wide awake by 7am!! So I starting ka-jiaoing my frens, surfed the net and.....got myself to fall in love with *gasp*....THIS!!....

Neverfull PM. It's the lastest collection...but I shall only admire for now, that is provided if my boss help me buy the speedy. I aimed a similar bag in Coach...but I dropped the idea when I saw one of my colleagues carrying the bag and it's not cheap either. $550 for the *gasp*
Made In China bag! Anyway, am not going to splurge unnecessary coz I've other plans in mind....MY FACE!! I went for my first facial after 1 billion years ago when I was still a teenager, maybe yet to reach full puberty then! *blushes*...Haha....

Thanks to Sis for the Leonard Drake Vouchers and I got myself / my face pamper yesterday by this chio and friendly demertologist @ Centrepoint. It's definately pricy but they are indeed professional. And I always believed that once you start on facial, there's like no turning back. So, this will be 1 of my monthly expenditure from now on...but I guess it's all worth it!

Sis is also really sweet to help me source for a Princessy Ring! She sent me a few links and we finally conclude that this one looks more real! But the price is also a little on the high side. It's 20 bucks as compared to the other which is like, 3.90? Anyway, she has helped me to bid using her acoount, so waiting for my ring now. Heehee...

Okay....going off now.....in search of more shopping! Muahaha

Sunday, June 03, 2007

I have to admit guilty-ly that I've decided to splurge on a LV, which I've been eyeing since I came back from Paris last November. Don't ask me why I did not buy it during then. Probably back then I was more interested in a Gucci than LV. But the more I look at it, the more I like it....How??!!
Lucky my boss is off to Paris again. And the magic question came..."So you want me to help you buy that bag?" Muahahaha....How can I resist the temptation to say NO rite!? Anyway, not too sure if she'll have time to help me buy but I'm already prepared for the damage! That's why for my upcoming meeting in Tokyo, no more shopping!! *pouts*...But come to think of it, I do really work very hard for the things I wana buy. Like how I was being *gasp* humiliated during events whereby those Aunties will say that I "neow", just becoz I refused to give them extra freebies. And then I still have to bear with them, literally slapping on my hands or nudging my hips just to gain my attention! Pain one you know!! Anyway, I'm glad that the Food Expo is finally over, but that means more events are coming up as well. Tentatively, I've got 1 more event next week and 2 in July. There goes my weekends again. Probably now my source of motivation is the speedy! Haha...yup...another of my excuse again! What's new right!! Heehee

Well, 3 more days to my Lasik and I'm feeling kinda cold feet now. BUT...I'll get through this once and for all! Oh! If any one of you happens to have 175/125 degrees, do drop me a note coz I still have some stocks left and I might juz charge you at a super duper low price since I won't be needing it anymore! Haha...Wish me luck ya....for soon-soon surgery!
